Tucker Kraft Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Packers TE Tucker Kraft (knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Browns. He hurt his left knee on Thursday and then didn’t practice on Friday. We’d be surprised if he played his usual role today, although there have been no reports about limited snaps. We’ve moved Kraft down a bit in the Week 3 TE rankings, but he still sits inside the top 10.

Packers TE Tucker Kraft is expected to play Sunday against the Browns, despite a left knee injury he suffered in practice this week. Kraft missed practice Friday and then turned up questionable on the final injury report.

Packers TE Tucker Kraft (knee) is officially questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Browns. He didn’t practice on Friday after suffering what’s been reported as a minor knee injury on Thursday. HC Matt LaFleur suggested Friday morning that Kraft could be a game-time decision. We’ll keep you updated on his status and get Green Bay’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday. Kraft’s absence would turn TE Luke Musgrave into a low-level spot starter.

Packers TE Tucker Kraft (knee) won't practice on Friday and is uncertain for this weekend's game vs. the Browns, HC Matt LaFleur said. "We'll give him up to game time," LaFleur said. "He's got to feel confident and be cleared at the same time." LaFleur also said that he doesn't expect Kraft to be out long-term. We'll see how he's listed on the final Week 3 injury report and look for further updates on his status.

The knee injury Packers TE Tucker Kraft suffered in Thursday's practice is not serious, according to multiple reports. A source told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Kraft had “a little scare but all good ... I think he will be OK.” NFL Network's Ian Rapoport describes the injury as "just a little knee tweak." It's still unclear if Kraft will be able to play vs. the Browns this weekend, but it sounds like he dodged a long-term absence.

Packers TE Tucker Kraft injured his left knee in Thursday's practice, according to multiple reports. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says, "the belief is it's not a long-term issue." And ESPN's Rob Demovsky: "Kraft is undergoing tests to determine the severity, but the Packers have reason to believe it's not a season-ending type injury." We'll update this story as we learn more. At minimum, Kraft is seemingly in danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Browns. His absence would leave Luke Musgrave as Green Bay's top TE -- and a potential fantasy option.

Packers TE Tucker Kraft ripped off a career-high 124 yards and a TD on six receptions in Thursday night's win over the Commanders. His biggest play was a 57-yard catch and run in the first quarter. Washington blew the coverage to leave Kraft wide open down the seam, but he put his plus athleticism on display to add another 30 yards or so after the catch. Kraft also made a key eight-yard grab to convert a third-and-six in the fourth quarter and then scored from eight yards out a few plays later to cap off the big game.

Packers QB Jordan Love is undergoing surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb, GM Brian Gutekunst announced. Love banged the non-throwing thumb on a helmet in Green Bay's preseason opener on Saturday. Gutekunst called it a "little procedure" and said Love "shouldn't miss any regular-season time." He added that the team is hoping to get Love back at practice next week.

Packers TE Tucker Kraft missed practice today with an announced groin injury. The extent of the injury is currently unknown, but it was the first practice he has missed during training camp.

Update: Kraft returned to practice on August 5.

Packers HC Matt LaFleur wants to get TE Tucker Kraft even more involved in the offense in 2025. He answered, "100%" when asked if Kraft can make a Travis Kelce or George Kittle-type of impact.

Packers TE Luke Musgrave has been activated from IR and will play against the Saints tonight, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. Musgrave had ankle surgery in October and hasn’t played since Week 4. "They’ll ease him in," Pelissero adds. Musgrave is nothing more than a flier in one-game DFS tournaments. We don't expect him to have a significant impact on TE Tucker Kraft's playing time tonight.

The Athletic's Dianna Russini hears that Packers QB Jordan Love (knee) is expected to play vs. the Lions tomorrow. That matches NFL Network's Ian Rapoport's "tracking to play" report from Friday night. We'll look for further updates on Love, but we're projecting him to play as of now. He won't be at 100% and will carry elevated risk in fantasy lineups. But there's also plenty of upside here in a potential shootout against a pass-funnel Lions defense. See where Love lands in the Week 9 QB Rankings.

Packers QB Jordan Love (groin) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Lions. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Friday night that Love is “tracking to play” on Sunday. It’s safe to assume he won’t be at 100%, adding risk to his Week 9 fantasy profile. But having Love under center instead of QB Malik Willis would be excellent news for Green Bay’s pass catchers.

Packers QB Jordan Love's MRI revealed a strained groin, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Colleague Tom Pelissero adds that Love is considered "day to day" and "has a chance" to play vs. the Lions this weekend. Love will certainly push to play in that big game, although it's worth noting that the Packers have a Week 10 bye. We'll track his status throughout the week. If Love is unable to go, Green Bay will turn back to QB Malik Willis. He's played surprisingly well this season, helping the Packers to three wins. But Willis would be a significant downgrade for the team's pass catchers.

Packers TE Tucker Kraft caught all three targets today for 78 yards and a TD, leading the team in receiving yards. Kraft continues to be a consistent option in the Packers passing game and has solidified his role.

Packers TE Tucker Kraft (groin) is not listed on the final Week 6 injury report. He was added on Thursday and limited again in Friday's practice, but he'll play vs. the Cardinals this weekend. Coming off back-to-back TE1 finishes, Kraft is a rock-solid fantasy start.

Packers TE Tucker Kraft was added to the injury report and limited in Thursday's practice with a groin. We don't have any other details on the injury, but Kraft's status for this weekend's game vs. the Cardinals is now in question. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Packers HC Matt LaFleur said Thursday that TE Luke Musgrave (ankle) will "more than likely" go on IR. That'd knock him out for the next four games, which runs into Green Bay's Week 10 bye. Musgrave can be dropped in all redraft leagues. His absence locks in TE Tucker Kraft as a full-time player -- and a fantasy TE1.

Packers TE Luke Musgrave will test out his injured ankle in pregame warmups before determining whether he'll play vs. the Rams today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. "But even if he can make it back, he will be limited at best," Schefter adds. The news just keeps getting better for TE Luke Musgrave, who has already been playing well ahead of Musgrave and should also find additional target opportunity today with WRs Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs out.

The Packers suspended WR Romeo Doubs one game for conduct detrimental to the team. He'll miss Sunday's contest vs. the Rams.
