Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bills QB Josh Allen had been playing through a fractured left hand suffered in the season-opening win over the Cardinals, NFL Network reports. That helps explain why Allen has taken just 15.4% of his snaps from under center this season, the third-lowest rate of his career. But it obviously hasn't impacted his production. Allen is "fully healthy" now, NFL Network adds. The story just adds context to what's been an MVP-caliber campaign from Allen.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Titans RB Tony Pollard (ankle) is expected to play vs. the Colts today. Schefter doesn't make any mention of Pollard being limited, but we'd be surprised if he handled his usual workload after missing practice all week. We're projecting RB Tyjae Spears to handle most of the passing-down snaps, while also cutting into Pollard's early-down work. See where both guys sit in the Week 16 RB Rankings.

Giants RB Tyrone Tracy (ankle) is expected to play vs. the Falcons today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Tracy was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable, so it's safe to assume that he won't be at 100% for this one. He checks in 24th in the Week 16 RB Rankings.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (wrist, personal) is expected to play vs. the 49ers today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Hill is listed as questionable after a limited practice on Friday, but we never sensed any concern about his availability for this one. Hill draws a tough San Francisco pass defense but has added target upside with WR Jaylen Waddle (knee) out.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Cowboys Edge Micah Parsons is "likely to play" against the Buccaneers tonight. Parsons is officially questionable with a stomach bug but should be ready for IDP lineups.

Jets DT Quinnen Williams will test his hamstring this morning ahead of the 1 p.m. ET game against the Rams, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. "If he can go, it'll be in a limited role," Garafolo adds. We've had Williams projected lower than his usual level all week and would be wary of using him in Week 16 IDP lineups. We'll update his status when inactives come out.

Commanders TE Zach Ertz (concussion) is "trending toward playing" vs. the Eagles today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Ertz is listed as questionable, but concussed players who won't get cleared in time to play are usually ruled out on Saturday. We'll get Washington's inactives around 11:30 am ET. Assuming he ends up active, Ertz will be a shaky TE1 play against Philadelphia's eighth-ranked TE defense.

Panthers WRs Jalen Coker (quad) and David Moore (concussion) are expected to play vs. the Cardinals today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Both guys should be full-time players with WR Xavier Legette out with a hip injury, although the quad issue that popped up for Coker on Thursday adds some risk to his profile.

Texans TE Dalton Schultz racked up 5 catches, 45 yards, and 1 score in Saturday's loss to Kansas City. His 8 targets ranked second on the team.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes completed 28 of 41 attempts for 260 yards and 1 score in Saturday's win over Houston. He added a 5-33-1 rushing line.

Ravens RB Derrick Henry had a great game against the Steelers rushing 24 times for 162 yards, but did not find the end zone for the third game in a row. With RB Justice Hill being knocked out of the game with a concussion, Henry even stayed in pass catching situations, catching both of his targets for 27 yards.

Both Steelers RBs Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren combined for only 90 yards on the ground. Warren led with 12 carries for 48 yards while Harris had nine for 42.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson had the best game of his career against the Steelers, completing 15 of 23 for 207 yards including three TDs. He also ran for 22 yards on the ground, dominating one of the best defenses in the league.

Ravens RB Justice Hill was knocked out of Saturday night's game vs. the Steelers with a concussion. It's his first documented head injury, but Hill is a long shot to be cleared in time for Wednesday's game against the Texans. His absence will likely mean more snaps for RBs Rasheen Ali and/or Keaton Mitchell. RB Derrick Henry could also pick up some more passing-down work.

Texans WR Tank Dell left Saturday's loss to the Chiefs after suffering a serious injury to his left knee. Dell caught a 30-yard TD pass early in the third quarter but landed in clear pain. He left the field in an ambulance with his entire leg being stabilized. HC DeMeco Ryans told reporters after the game that Dell will stay overnight in a Kansas City hospital.

The Packers have ruled LB Quay Walker out for Monday night's game against the Saints because of the ankle he sprained last week.

Saints WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling is questionable for Monday night's game against the Packers. He missed all three days of practice. New Orleans initially listed MVS with a chest injury but added illness Friday. We'll see about his status Monday, but Valdes-Scantling is probably not worth waiting for in your lineup.

The Saints have ruled RB Alvin Kamara out for Monday night's game against the Packers because of his groin injury. That comes as no surprise and aligns with what HC Darren Rizzi indicated earlier this week.

Ravens WR Rashod Bateman is active for today's game against the Steelers. He picked up a foot injury during the practice week that limited him Wednesday and then kept him out Thursday. But NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported this morning that the team was optimistic. Bateman might be limited vs. his usual role and certainly carries some risk of leaving early. Keep that in mind as you consider whether to use him. Check your Team Intel page to see if Bateman makes sense for your lineup.

Browns WR Cedric Tillman (concussion) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game vs. the Bengals. He was limited in practice all week but still hasn't cleared protocol. Tillman's absence helps the target projections on WRs Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Moore, but they remain shaky fantasy plays with QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson taking over for QB Jameis Winston.
