Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

The Steelers on Saturday placed WR James Washington on the COVID list. Washington wasn't headed for a big role, with Diontae Johnson back on the active roster. His deactivation, though, locks in Ray-Ray McCloud as a top-3 WR for the upside matchup with Baltimore. Pittsburgh also activated lead CB Joe Haden and C Kendrick Green from the COVID list, making them available for the Ravens game.

The Colts on Saturday activated WR Parris Campbell from IR. He had been there since Oct. 19 after suffering a foot injury in the Week 6 win over Houston. HC Frank Reich reportedly said the coaching staff will decide whether to play Campbell in the regular-season finale against Jacksonville. We wouldn't bet on a big role if Campbell does get into that game. We'll see about his role for the playoffs (assuming the Colts get there).

Colts DT DeForest Buckner is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Buckner missed practice all week with a nagging knee issue and seems like a legitimate game-day decision.

Broncos K Brandon McManus has been activated from the COVID list. He'll be available for Saturday's finale vs. the Chiefs.

Bengals TE C.J. Uzomah (knee, hip) is questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Browns. He didn’t practice all week and seems unlikely to play with Cincinnati resting starters in this one. Uzomah’s absence would leave Drew Sample as the Bengals’ top TE.

49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo (thumb) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Rams. He got in 3 limited practices this week. "He had a good week,” HC Kyle Shanahan said Friday. “Feel good with where he's at right now.” Shanahan added that he’s already decided who will start at QB but wouldn’t reveal. We’ll look for an update on this situation on Sunday morning.

Bengals DE Sam Hubbard is officially questionable for Sunday’s game against the Browns. We’re not sure how serious the thigh issue is, given that Hubbard finished the week with a full Friday practice. (He missed Wednesday then was limited Thursday.) The Bengals, of course, have already revealed that they’re resting some starters. We’ll see where Hubbard fits within that. The fact that many of the team’s other D-linemen are dealing with COVID or injuries might force Hubbard into at least some action. We’ve removed him from the rankings for now, though

Raiders TE Darren Waller (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Chargers. He got in 3 limited practices this week. Interim HC Rich Bisaccia said Monday that Waller was expected back for this must-win game, and he seems to still be on track.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (ribs) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Chargers. He got in 3 limited practices this week. We’d be surprised if Jacobs missed this must-win game but will keep you updated on his status.

The Cowboys on Friday downgraded CB Trevon Diggs and S Jayron Kearse from questionable to out. The Dallas secondary will also be without CB Anthony Brown, who landed on the COVID list. These are good developments for the DFS upside of Eagles QB Gardner Minshew and whichever WRs are playing Saturday

Cardinals RB James Conner (heel) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Seahawks. We're expecting him to play after getting in 3 limited practices this week but will look for an update on his status on Sunday morning. Seahawks-Cardinals kicks off at 4:25 pm ET. With RB Chase Edmonds (ribs, toe) ruled out, Arizona would be down to RBs Eno Benjamin and Jonathan Ward if Conner can't go.

Saints RB Mark Ingram (knee) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Falcons. He didn’t practice on Thursday and Friday, so we’re not expecting him to play. We’ll get New Orleans’ inactives around 3 pm ET on Sunday. Ingram’s absence would mean a few more touches for RB Alvin Kamara.

Lions QB Jared Goff (knee) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Packers after a limited week of practice. We’ll find out whether he’s playing around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

The Packers list RB Aaron Jones (knee) as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Lions. That should be reason enough for him to sit out this meaningless finale. We'll get Green Bay's inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Patriots RB Damien Harris (hamstring) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Dolphins. We’re expecting Harris to play but will look for an update on his status on Sunday morning. Patriots-Dolphins doesn’t kick off until 4:25 pm ET.

Browns RB Kareem Hunt (ankle) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s finale vs. the Bengals. Cleveland has been eliminated from playoff contention and might not want to play Hunt at less than 100%. We’ll find out whether he’s active around 11:30 am ET on Sunday. RB D'Ernest Johnson was placed on the COVID list on Monday and remains there as of Friday afternoon.

Browns TE David Njoku (shoulder) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Bengals. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. Njoku’s absence would be a slight boost for TEs Austin Hooper and Harrison Bryant.

Cowboys RB Tony Pollard (foot) has been downgraded to out for Saturday night's game vs. the Eagles. It's unclear if he suffered a setback with that foot or is just getting some rest with Dallas having already won the NFC East. Even with Pollard out, don't expect the Cowboys to overwork RB Ezekiel Elliott on Saturday. Corey Clement will mix in as the #2 RB.

Steelers WR Diontae Johnson has been activated from the COVID list. He should be available for his usual role in Sunday's finale vs. the Ravens.

Falcons TE Kyle Pitts (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Saints. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. Pitts said Thursday that he expects to play, but the team will have the final say. Falcons-Saints doesn’t kick off until 4:25 pm ET on Sunday, but we’ll look for an update on Pitts’ status that morning.
