The Dallas Cowboys entered Week 11 allowing the second-most fantasy points to RBs, but they were able to shut down Ashton Jeanty. The Raiders' rookie RB was held to a season-low 7 rushing yards and 6 attempts in the team's 33-16 loss. Jeanty somewhat salvaged his fantasy value by catching a season-high 6 passes, but only managed to produce 34 yards of offense on 12 touches.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Jeanty's first carry of the game went for a 1-yard loss and set the template for how the Raiders' ground game would go against a vulnerable defense.
After that first drive, Jeanty wouldn't receive another carry until the team began their fourth drive in the second quarter. That second carry was a nifty 11-yard gain, but it would all go downhill after that:
• Pushed out of bounds for 3-yard loss
• 2-yard gain
• 1-yard loss
• 1-yard loss resulting in safety
Geno Smith attempted 42 passes in what was a negative game script for Jeanty. The Raiders tried to use play-action, but it was ineffective against an inspired Dallas defense that shut down the run and sacked Smith 4 times.
This was Jeanty's fourth game of the season with single-digit fantasy points in what has been a disappointing rookie campaign for the first-round rookie who entered the league with considerable hype.
And the struggles aren't necessarily over.
Jeanty and the Raiders have the 20th-ranked remaining strength of schedulefor RBs. Two of the Raiders' next three games come against teams that rank inside the top-5 in terms of limiting fantasy production to RBs.
• Week 12 vs. Cleveland
• Week 13 at Los Angeles Chargers
• Week 14 vs. Denver
• Week 15 at Philadelphia
• Week 16 at Houston
• Week 17 vs. New York Giants
In addition to the Browns and Broncos, Jeanty will have to face the league's top defense in Week 16.
The silver lining is a fantasy championship week matchup against a Giants' defense that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to RBs.
