Sterling Shepard Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Giants WRs Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton and John Ross are questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Panthers with their hamstring injuries. Slayton seems to be in the best shape after putting in 3 limited practices this week. Ross was limited on Thursday and Friday. Shepard was added to the injury report on Thursday and then limited on Friday. He looks like the shakiest bet to play on Sunday. The Giants' healthy WRs right now are Dante Pettis and Collin Johnson. We'll get the team's inactives around 11:30 am ET.

Giants WR Sterling Shepard was added to Thursday's injury report as limited with a hamstring. We don't have any details right now, but mid-week downgrades are never good. WR Darius Slayton (hamstring) remained limited on Thursday, while WR John Ross (hamstring) returned to a limited practice after sitting out Wednesday. We'll update the Giants' banged-up WR corps again tomorrow.

Giants WRs Kenny Golladay (knee) and Kadarius Toney (ankle) remained sidelined on Thursday. The New York Daily News' Pat Leonard confirms that both are expected to miss this weekend's game vs. the Panthers. WR Sterling Shepard should soak up a bunch of targets in that one.

Giants WRs Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Kadarius Toney (ankle) are active for today’s game vs. the Rams. WR Darius Slayton (hamstring) is inactive. WR John Ross figures to operate as New York’s #3 WR in place of Slayton.

Giants WRs Sterling Shepard (hamstring), Kadarius Toney (ankle) and Darius Slayton (hamstring) were limited in practice all week. Shepard was left off the final injury report, while Toney and Slayton are listed as questionable. All 3 guys are expected to play vs. the Rams on Sunday, but it looks like Shepard is healthiest. WR Kenny Golladay (knee) is out.

Giants QB Daniel Jones (concussion) will be a full participant in Friday's practice and "appears" on track to start Sunday's game vs. the Rams, HC Joe Judge said Friday morning. Jones still needs to be cleared by an independent neurologist in order to play this weekend, but it sounds like that's expected to happen. Jones is a borderline QB1 for Week 6 and an upgrade over QB Mike Glennon for all of New York's skill-position players.

Giants WRs Kadarius Toney (ankle), Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Darius Slayton (hamstring) remained limited in Thursday's practice. All 3 are expected to play vs. the Rams this weekend, but we'll get another update tomorrow.

Giants WR Darius Slayton (hamstring) returned to practice on Wednesday. So did WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring), who said he plans on playing vs. the Rams this weekend. Slayton also seems on track to play in that one. Look for those 2 -- plus rookie Kadarius Toney -- to operate as New York's top 3 WRs.

Giants WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring) expects to return for Sunday's game against the Rams. He's been sidelined since hurting his hamstring in Week 3. Shepard opened the season with 7-113-1 and 9-94 lines and would be a welcomed return for a Giants team likely to be without WR Kenny Golladay and potentially WR Darius Slayton. We'll track Shepard's practice participation over the next few days.

Giants WRs Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Darius Slayton (hamstring) are out for Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys. Last week, Kadarius Toney replaced Shepard in the slot, with John Ross taking over Slayton's field-stretcher role. Toney is a viable Week 5 fantasy play after racking up a team-high 9 targets last week.

Giants WRs Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton remained sidelined on Thursday with their hamstring injuries. Both guys are likely to miss this weekend's game vs. the Cowboys. That keeps rookie WR Kadarius Toney in play as a Week 5 fantasy starter.

Giants WRs Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton remained sidelined on Wednesday with their hamstring injuries. At this point, we should be assuming they won't play vs. the Cowboys this weekend. That'd make WR Kadarius Toney a viable Week 5 fantasy starter. The rookie turned 9 targets into a 6-78 line last week.
