Trevor Lawrence Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) won't play vs. the Lions this weekend, HC Doug Pederson said Wednesday. Jacksonville gets a Week 12 bye, so perhaps we see Lawrence again in Week 13. But he's reportedly considering season-ending surgery on his injured left shoulder. Lawrence has no reason to rush back to the soon-to-be 2-9 Jags. QB Mac Jones gets another start on Sunday after an ugly Week 10: 111 yards, 0 TDs, and 2 INTs. That came against a tough Vikings defense, but this weekend's matchup against the Lions isn't much easier. Jones isn't a recommended play in any format and makes Jacksonville's skill-position players tough to trust.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (left shoulder) is officially inactive for today’s game vs. the Vikings. It sounds like he’s still deciding whether to have surgery on this shoulder, which would end his season. We’ll keep you updated on Lawrence’s status. QB Mac Jones gets the start today.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (left shoulder) won't play against the Vikings today. "The question is whether Lawrence will make it back for next Sunday vs. the Lions or whether the team will give him one more week off with Jacksonville’s bye coming the week after," Schefter adds. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Lawrence is dealing with a "significant AC joint sprain" that could eventually require surgery, "though the current plan is for rest and rehab." QB Mac Jones will make his Jaguars debut today.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (left shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Vikings after a limited week of practice. HC Doug Pederson admitted on Friday, though, that Lawrence is unlikely to play. That’ll leave QB Mac Jones at the helm for his first start in almost a year. Jones’ career passing numbers are similar to Lawrence’s, but we’re still considering him a downgrade for Jacksonville’s offense.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence is dealing with a left shoulder injury and continuing to get treatment. He has been labeled as day-to-day, but now is unlikely to play this Sunday while options are considered. There appear to be a wide range of outcomes for Lawrence and more missed games could be in his future. Mac Jones would be slated to start if Lawrence can't go.

Jaguars HC Doug Pederson said QB Trevor Lawrence is dealing with "upper-body" soreness and will be limited in Wednesday's practice. He wouldn't commit to Lawrence being available for this weekend's game vs. the Vikings. Jacksonville notably signed QB C.J. Beathard off Miami's practice squad on Wednesday for more depth. QB Mac Jones would start against Minnesota if Lawrence is unable. We'll keep you updated on the situation. Lawrence's absence would be a downgrade for Jacksonville's offense, although Jones is one of the better backups in the league.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence completed 21-of-32 passes for 308 yards and 2 TDs as well as 1 INT. He also ran for an additional TD in the game. The Jaguars played a close game, but were unable to seal the victory.
