Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Patriots. He got in just limited practices on Thursday and Friday but said Friday that he’ll play against New England. We’ll get Miami’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (hip) is not listed on the final Week 8 injury report. He put in just limited practices on Thursday and Friday but will be a “full go” vs. the Patriots this weekend, according to NFL Networks’s Cameron Wolfe. Hill should stay glued into fantasy lineups.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (knee) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Ravens. He was a full participant in practice all week and was actually not even listed on the Thursday or Friday practice report. But Murray is still at least one more week away from his 2023 debut. QB Josh Dobbs will start vs. Baltimore.

Saints TE Juwan Johnson (calf) is not listed on the final Week 8 injury report. He’ll be back for Sunday’s game vs. the Colts after missing the previous four weeks. We’ll see how routes and targets are divvied between Johnson and Taysom Hill, but neither is a reliable Week 8 fantasy play.

Texans WR Robert Woods (foot) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers. WR Tank Dell (concussion) is off the final injury report and will play. The rookie is a WR3 with upside against a burnable Carolina secondary.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is not listed on the Week 8 injury report. He appeared to be playing through a knee injury in last week’s win over Miami but will be out there for Sunday’s plus matchup vs. the Commanders.

Colts RB Zack Moss (elbow, heel) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Saints. He only got in a limited practice on Thursday, so he seems legitimately iffy. Moss’ absence would obviously be a big boost for RB Jonathan Taylor.

Packers WR Christian Watson (knee) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report for Sunday’s game vs. the Vikings. The knee injury Watson suffered last week doesn’t look like a concern. QB Jordan Love’s play is.

Packers TE Luke Musgrave (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Vikings. He returned to a limited practice on Friday after missing the previous two days. Musgrave admitted that he was still in a walking boot as of Thursday morning. Even if he ends up playing on Sunday, you should look elsewhere for your fantasy TE.

Packers RB Aaron Jones (hamstring) is not listed on the final Week 8 injury report. He only got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday, though. "We're still gonna be smart with him. I don’t think he’s 100% by any stretch." HC Matt LaFleur said Friday. Jones tallied eight carries and five targets on a 36% snap rate in his return last week. We’re projecting a similar workload vs. the Vikings on Sunday.

Titans WR Treylon Burks (knee) put in a full week of practice and is not listed on the final injury report for Sunday’s game vs. the Falcons. Burks is not a recommended Week 8 fantasy play with QB Will Levis expected to make his first career start.

Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) remained sidelined in practice all week and is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Steelers. WR Christian Kirk, WR Calvin Ridley, and TE Evan Engram should again be Jacksonville’s top three targets in that one.

The Jaguars list QB Trevor Lawrence (knee) as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Steelers. He played through this knee issue last week, even running for a season-high 59 yards. Lawrence is fully expected to play against Pittsburgh.

Steelers WR Diontae Johnson (hamstring) is not listed on the final Week 8 injury report. He was sidelined on Thursday but returned to a full practice on Friday. Johnson should be ready for his usual role in Sunday’s game vs. the Jaguars.

Bears QB Justin Fields (thumb) is out for Sunday night’s game vs. the Chargers. He remained sidelined in practice all week. QB Tyson Bagent gets another start this weekend. He completed 72% of his passes in the Week 7 win over the Raiders but averaged just 5.6 yards per attempt on a laughably low 2.1 air yards per attempt.

Bears RB Roschon Johnson (concussion) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’ll be back for Sunday night’s game vs. the Chargers. We’re expecting RB D’Onta Foreman to lead Chicago in carries, but Johnson should be the No. 2 RB and likely play in passing situations. He’s a borderline RB3 option in PPR leagues.

Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson (foot) is not listed on the final Week 8 injury report. He was limited in practice this week but will be out there for Sunday’s game vs. the Packers.

Giants RB Saquon Barkley (elbow) is not listed on the final Week 8 injury report. He hyperextended his elbow last week but returned to that game and will be ready for a full workload vs. the Jets on Sunday.

Giants TE Darren Wallker (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Jets after a limited week of practice. It’s the third time he’s been listed as questionable this season. He played the previous two times. There’s been no indication that Waller is in danger of missing this weekend’s game, but check back around 11:30 am ET on Sunday to make sure he’s active.

Titans QB Ryan Tannehill (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Falcons. HC Mike Vrabel said early in the week that he’d use both QB Will Levis and QB Malik Willis in this one, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Wednesday that Levis will be the “primary QB.” Regardless, you should try to avoid the entire Titans passing game in fantasy lineups this week.
