Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Raiders. Jeudy had to be carted off the field with what sounded like a significant hamstring injury just a little over two weeks ago. But it seems like he has a legitimate chance to play this weekend. We’ll look for further updates on Jeudy’s status. Broncos-Raiders doesn’t kick off until 4:25 pm ET on Sunday. Jeudy will carry elevated risk in fantasy lineups if he does suit up.

Texans WR John Metchie (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Ravens. He’s off the redraft radar. Nico Collins, Robert Woods, Noah Brown, and Tank Dell will operate as Houston’s top four WRs.

Ravens WR Odell Beckham (ankle) is not listed on the final Week 1 injury report. He was limited in Thursday's practice but a full participant on Friday. It doesn't look like the ankle will be an issue in Sunday's opener vs. the Texans.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (quad) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s opener vs. the Texans. HC John Harbaugh has been coy on Andrews’ status all week. We’re tentatively projecting him to play on Sunday, but check back around 11:30 am ET for Baltimore’s inactives.

Giants insider Art Stapleton tweeted that the "sense I get" is that TE Darren Waller's hamstring injury is "not considered a serious injury, but comes with caution because hamstrings are what they are and it's something that has slowed Waller in the past." It's relatively good news, although it sounds like Waller is in jeopardy of missing Sunday night's opener vs. the Cowboys. We'll continue to look for updates on Waller's status.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker (groin) is not listed on the final Week 1 injury report. He was added on Thursday and limited in practice, but he's evidently good to go for this weekend's opener vs. the Rams. Walker is in a nice spot with Seattle 4.5-point home favorites.

Jake Moody will kick for the 49ers in Sunday's opener vs. the Steelers. The rookie had been dealing with a quad injury but was left off the final injury report. We'd still look elsewhere for your Week 1 fantasy kicker.

49ers TE George Kittle (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Steelers. He was limited in practice all week. We’ll look for further updates on Kittle’s status. It’s a 1 pm ET kickoff, so we’ll get San Francisco’s inactives around 11:30 am on Sunday.

Packers HC Matt LaFleur labeled WR Christian Watson "week-to-week" with his hamstring injury but said he doesn't think it will be a "3- or 4-week thing," according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky. Watson has already been ruled out for Week 1, and it sounds like we should consider him questionable at best for Week 2.

Titans WR Treylon Burks (knee) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final Week 1 injury report. It looks like he’s ready for a full workload vs. the Saints on Sunday.

Colts RB Zack Moss (forearm) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Jaguars after a limited week of practice. We’re tentatively expecting Moss to play and work in a 3-RB committee with Deon Jackson and Evan Hull. That’d be a situation to avoid in Week 1 fantasy lineups. Jackson and Hull would become slightly better fantasy plays if Moss ends up inactive.

The Saints list RB Kendre Miller (knee) as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Titans. The rookie didn’t practice all week, so it’d be a major surprise if he played. Miller’s absence would leave Jamaal Williams as something close to an every-down back for New Orleans.

Cardinals TE Zach Ertz (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Commanders. He was limited in practice all week, after being activated from the PUP list in mid-August off his November ACL and MCL tears. Ertz should not be in your Week 1 fantasy plans. His absence would be a boost to TE Trey McBride’s fantasy value.

Cardinals WR Marquise Brown (hamstring) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s opener vs. the Commanders. Between the hamstring and Arizona’s QB situation, Brown is a shaky WR3 for Week 1.

Packers WR Romeo Doubs (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Bears. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. Even if Doubs ends up active on Sunday, he’ll be at risk of reduced snaps and reinjury. We’d try not to use him in Week 1 fantasy lineups. With WR Christian Watson (hamstring) out, WR Jayden Reed and TE Luke Musgrave should see increased target shares. But we’re expecting a run-heavy attack from Green Bay, featuring RBs Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon.

Rams HC Sean McVay conceded Friday that there's a "definite possibility" that WR Cooper Kupp lands on IR with his hamstring injury. That move would come on Saturday and knock Kupp out for the first four games of the season. It'd be a blow to Kupp's fantasy owners -- but the top priority here should be making sure this hamstring injury is truly behind him before putting him back on the field. Stay tuned.

Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) is listed as doubtful for Sunday night’s game vs. the Cowboys. He put in three limited practices this week, so he’s seemingly close to his first game action since last November’s torn ACL. Darius Slayton, Isaiah Hodgins, and Parris Campbell are expected to operate as New York’s top three WRs in the opener.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow (calf) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. We’re not expecting the calf to be a factor in Sunday’s opener vs. the Browns.

Falcons RB Cordarrelle Patterson (thigh) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s opener vs. the Panthers. He was limited in practice all week. Patterson shouldn’t be in your Week 1 fantasy plans, but his absence would be a slight boost for RB Bijan Robinson.

Panthers WR Adam Thielen (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend's opener vs. the Falcons. He got in limited practices on Wednesday and Friday. It's unclear if this is load management for the 33-year-old or if the ankle is a legitimate problem. We'll look for an update on Thielen's situation on Sunday morning. WR Terrace Marshall (back) is not listed on the final injury report after putting in a full practice on Friday.
