Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Niners TE George Kittle tallied 6 catches for 120 yards and 2 TDs in Saturday's win over the Commanders. Kittle led his team in all 3 categories. It marked his 2nd straight 2-TD game. WR Brandon Aiyuk followed with 5 catches for 81 yards on 7 targets. WR Jauan Jennings (2) and RB Christian McCaffrey (2) were the only other 49ers to catch passes. San Francisco gets an upside matchup with the Raiders in Week 17.

Commanders WR Jahan Dotson led the team with 9 targets in Saturday's loss to the 49ers. He caught 6 of them for 76 yards and a TD. Dotson beat WR Terry McLaurin in targets a game after he tied McLaurin for the team lead. TE Logan Thomas followed Dotson in this one, catching 6 of 8 targets for 35 yards. WR Curtis Samuel added a 5-52-1 receiving line on 5 targets. McLaurin went 4-77-1 on 5 looks.

Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. got 22 carries in Saturday's loss to the 49ers, but he managed just 58 yards (2.6 per attempt). It was a predictably tough matchup, with the opposite coming in Week 17. Robinson will carry upside then, against a Browns defense that entered Week 16 as the 4th most friendly to RB scoring.

The Commanders removed QB Taylor Heinicke from the 2nd half of Saturday's loss to the 49ers, replacing him with Carson Wentz. Heinicke completed 13 of 18 throws for 166 yards (9.2 per attempt), 2 TDs and 1 INT. He also lost a fumble. Wentz completed 12 of 16 passes for 123 yards (7.7 per attempt) and 1 TD. HC Ron Rivera told reporters after the game that he's not sure who he'll start in Week 17 against the Browns.

Titans QB Malik Willis went 14-of-23 passing in Saturday's loss to the Texans, tallying just 99 yards (4.3 per attempt) with 0 TDs and 2 INTs. WR Robert Woods was the only Titan with more than 2 receptions, catching all 4 of his targets for 30 yards. Willis will start at least 1 more game Thursday night against the Cowboys.

Titans RB Derrick Henry rushed 23 times for 126 yards and a TD in Saturday's loss to the Texans. That marked a disappointing performance vs. his previous 4 meetings with the Texans, each of which found Henry exceeding 210 rushing yards and scoring at least 2 TDs. But it's tough to complain about the big guy averaging 5.5 yards per rush against a defense that knew he was coming the whole time. Henry boosted that by scoring his TD from 48 yards out, meaning that he averaged 3.5 yards on his other 22 attempts. He gets a tougher matchup with the Cowboys on Thursday night of Week 17.

Patriots WR Kendrick Bourne caught 6 of 9 targets for 100 yards and a TD in Saturday's loss to the Bengals. He led the team in all 3 categories (tying Jakobi Meyers in receptions) and added a 29-yard carry. Bourne did all that despite trailing Meyers and rookie WR Tyquan Thornton in playing time and routes, according to Pro Football Focus. Meyers posted a 6-83-1 receiving line on 7 targets, though he inflated that with a 48-yard TD on a ball that was intended for WR Scotty Washington but bounced to Meyers off Washington's hands. Meyers did lead the team in pass routes, though, which makes him easier to like for a Week 17 clash with the Dolphins. Thornton finished with just 1 catch for 8 yards among 3 targets. QB Mac Jones threw for 240 yards and 2 TDs in the game.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson totaled just 33 yards on 18 opportunities in Saturday's loss to the Bengals. He carried 13 times for just 30 yards, adding 2 catches for 3 yards on 5 targets. Stevenson ceded just 1 RB carry (to Kevin Harris) and 2 targets (to Pierre Strong), with Damien Harris out once again. Week 17 holds a rematch with the Dolphins, who allowed just 78 rushing yards to the Patriots back in Week 1. We'll see whether it also holds a return for Damien Harris.

Bengals RB Joe Mixon rushed 16 times for 65 yards (4.1 per rush) in Saturday's win over the Patriots. He added 7 receptions for 43 yards among 9 targets (tied for 2nd on the team). The efficiency wasn't great, but it was nice to see Mixon clearly leading the backfield in both phases. He goes up against the Bills in Week 17.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow went 40-of-52 passing for 375 yards and 3 TDs (plus 2 INTs) in Saturday's win over the Patriots. Cincinnati dropped back on 65.5% of offensive plays despite jumping to a big early lead, facing a defense that has played the run tough. Burrow's scores went to WR Trenton Irwin (2) and WR Tee Higgins, who led the team with 128 yards on 8 catches. WR Ja'Marr Chase matched Higgins forr the reception lead, going for 79 yards. Cincinnati hosts the Bills in Week 17.

Vikings QB Kirk Cousins threw for 299 yards and 3 TDs in Saturday's narrow victory over the Giants. He hit TE T.J. Hockenson for 2 scores and found WR Justin Jefferson for the other. Those 2 accounted for 66.7% of Cousins' total pass attempts, drawing 16 targets apiece. No other Viking saw more than 4. The Vikings head to Green Bay in Week 17 to face a Packers defense that ranks among the worst against the run, but negative as a scoring matchup for QBs.

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson caught 12 balls for 133 yards and a TD in Saturday's win over the Giants. It was his 3rd straight game with more than 120 yards and his 10th game of 100+ this season. Jefferson also passed the franchise records for receptions and receiving yards in a season. He leads the league in receiving yards for the season by more than 200, with #2 Tyreek Hill yet to play. WR Adam Thielen caught just 1 of 5 targets for 6 yards against the Giants. WR K.J. Osborn followed his big Week 15 with 3 catches for 17 yards among 4 targets.

Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson tallied 13 catches for 109 yards and 2 TDs in Saturday's win over the Giants. He tied WR Justin Jefferson for the team lead with 16 targets, while no other Viking drew more than 5 looks or exceeded 3 receptions.

Giants QB Daniel Jones threw for 334 yards and a TD (plus an INT) in Saturday's loss to the Vikings. It marked just the 2nd time all year that Jones reached 300 yards, in just his 2nd game with 40+ passing attempts. Jones added 34 yards rushing on just 4 attempts. His lone TD throw went to WR Isaiah Hodgins, 1 of 3 Giants with 8 receptions.

Giants RB Saquon Barkley ran for 84 yards and a TD on 14 carries in Saturday's narrow loss to the Vikings. He added 8 catches for 49 yards among 10 targets. It was the 2nd straight game of more than 100 total yards for the Giants RB, who faces the Colts in Week 17.

Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon scored from 9 yards out among his 3 catches for 31 yards in Saturday's win over the Seahawks. That marks his 4th straight game with at least 1 TD and his 6th TD over that span. McKinnon totaled just 8 touches for 38 yards in this one, so he's still not a safe bet if he doesn't get TD luck. Week 17 holds a rematch with the Broncos, who allowed McKinnon 7-112-2 receiving line in their Week 14 meeting. Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco added 58 yards on 14 carries, plus a catch for 32 yards.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce caught 6 of 8 targets for 113 yards in Saturday's win over the Seahawks, leading the team in all 3 categories on a limited passing day. Kelce accounted for 50.4% of Kansas City's total passing yards. QB Patrick Mahomes' 2 TD throws went to RB Jerick McKinnon and WR Kadarius Toney.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes went just 16-of-28 passing for 224 yards and 2 TDs in Saturday's win over the Seahawks. He added a rushing score to boost the fantasy line. Next comes a rematch with the Broncos, who allowed Mahomes 352 yards and 3 TDs passing in their Week 14 meeting.

Seahawks QB Geno Smith threw for just 215 yards on 25-of-40 passing in Saturday's loss to the Chiefs, with 1 TD and 1 INT. His 74.5 passer rating was his lowest mark of the year. WR D.K. Metcalf led the receiving with 7 catches for 81 yards on 9 targets. RB DeeJay Dallas checked in next by catching all 6 of his targets for 32 yards. WR Marquise Goodwin went catch-less among 4 targets. TE Noah Fant caught the team's only TD among 2 receptions for 12 yards. Seattle might get better weather in Week 17 but will face a much tougher defense in the Jets.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker entered Saturday's game questionable after missing practice all week with an ankle injury. But then he racked up 26 carries for 107 yards (4.1 per rush). The rookie added 2 catches for minus-2 yards in the loss to the Chiefs. He gets a tough matchup with the Jets in Week 17.
