Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Niners LB Dre Greenlaw missed practice Wednesday with a groin injury. We'll see how he fares the next two days, ahead of Sunday's meeting with the Rams.

Chargers Edge Joey Bosa missed Wednesday's practice with a hamstring injury. We'll see about his status the rest of the week, ahead of Sunday's matchup with Tennessee.

Packers LB Quay Walker missed practice Wednesday and is in the concussion protocol. That makes him unlikely to play Sunday against the Falcons, though we'll keep an eye on the second-year LB's status.

Falcons HC Arthur Smith announced Wednesday that LB Troy Andersen has entered the concussion protocol. There was no issue reported during or directly following the game, but Smith said Andersen "didn't feel right" Tuesday. This likely means Andersen will miss Sunday's game against the Packers. We'll watch for more on his status. Tae Davis or Nate Landman could be the next guy up. Neither should be in your Week 2 lineup plans at this point.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. "Just vet rest and maintenance. He’s good to go," NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe tweeted. It sounds like Mostert will be ready for a full workload vs. the Patriots this weekend, but we'll keep an eye on his status over the next few days.

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. He was limited all three days last week before missing the season opener, so his status for Sunday's game vs. the Commanders remains uncertain. We'll update his progress again tomorrow.

Cowboys WR Brandin Cooks (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. “I feel good," he told reporters. “If I’m out there, there’s no limitation." It sounds like Cooks should be available for this weekend's game vs. the Jets, but we'll update his status again tomorrow.

Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. He seemed to make it through Week 1 unscathed, so our guess is that this was more of a rest day. Check back tomorrow for another update on Hopkins' status for Sunday's game vs. the Chargers.

Chargers RB Austin Ekeler did not practice on Wednesday. He's listed on the injury report with the ankle and "NIR - Personal." Ekeler was away from the team to attend the funeral of his agent, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, so we don't know if that ankle would have allowed him to practice. We'll get another update on Ekeler's status tomorrow, but it's certainly possible that he misses Sunday's game vs. the Titans. That'd leave Joshua Kelley as the Chargers' lead back.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (knee) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. We're tentatively expecting him back for this weekend's game vs. the Jaguars, but check back tomorrow for another update on Kelce's progress.

Texans WR John Metchie (hamstring) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He was sidelined all three practices last week, so this is an upgrade. Houston could use Metchie with WR Noah Brown on IR, but he's not a Week 2 fantasy option.

Colts RB Zack Moss (forearm) put in a full practice on Wednesday. That should have him on track to play vs. the Texans this weekend. He'll join Deon Jackson and Jake Funk in Indianapolis' backfield. Considering how poorly Jackson played in the opener, Moss might be the favorite to lead the RBs in carries on Sunday.

Colts QB Anthony Richardson is not on the Week 2 injury report. He banged his knee in Week 1 but will be ready for this Sunday's game vs. the Texans.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (quad) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He was limited in all three practices last week before missing the Texans game, so this doesn't tell us much about his Week 2 availability. We'll update Andrews' status again tomorrow.

Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday. That's not a good start for his chances of being cleared in time for this weekend's game vs. the Bills. We'll update Meyers' progress again tomorrow, but he should be on fantasy benches for now.

Raiders WR Davante Adams (foot) did not practice on Wednesday. The Athletic's Vic Tafur tweeted that Adams appeared to be fine, so it looks like this was more of a rest day for the 30-year-old. We'll see if Adams gets back on the field tomorrow.

Falcons RB Cordarrelle Patterson (thigh) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. He's on track to make his 2023 debut vs. the Packers this weekend. Patterson isn't a viable fantasy option but figures to steal at least a few touches from RBs Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier.

Packers RB Aaron Jones (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. He downplayed the injury after the Week 1 win, but he's certainly not a lock to play vs. the Falcons this Sunday. Jones' absence would turn A.J. Dillon into Green Bay's feature back. Check back tomorrow for another update on Jones.

Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. He was spotted doing some rehab work off to the side at the beginning of the session. But fantasy owners shouldn't be counting on Watson returning for Sunday's game vs. the Falcons. We'll see if he's able to practice tomorrow.

The Eagles have ruled S Reed Blankenship (ribs) and CB James Bradberry (concussion) out for Thursday night's game against the Vikings. Terrell Edmunds operated as the third safety in the opener and would seem to be next up in Blankenship's spot. Second-year CB Josh Jobe is expected to fill in for Bradberry. That's a matchup upgrade for Vikings wideouts.
