Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Titans RB Derrick Henry did not practice on Thursday but is now listed on the injury report with "rest," rather than the previous "foot." Henry should be ready for his usual workhorse role vs. the Chiefs on Sunday night, but check back tomorrow for another update.

Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He's seemingly on track to play vs. the Bucs this weekend, but we'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Cardinals RB James Conner (ribs) was limited again in Thursday's practice. He seemingly has a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Seahawks, but check back tomorrow for another update.

Seahawks TE Noah Fant (hamstring) remained limited in Thursday's practice. We'll see what he does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report for this weekend's game vs. the Cardinals.

Commanders RB J.D. McKissic (neck) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. He's in danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Vikings, which would be a boost to RB Antonio Gibson's fantasy stock.

Patriots RB Damien Harris (illness) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. Players almost always play through illnesses -- but we just saw Raiders WR Davante Adams struggle playing through the flu last week. We'll get another update on Harris tomorrow.

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (ankle) remained sidelined on Thursday. He battled through this injury last week but certainly isn't a lock to play vs. Patriots on Sunday. Check back tomorrow for another update on JT. His absence this weekend would leave Deon Jackson as Indianapolis' likely lead back.

Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) remained limited in Thursday's practice. His status for this weekend's game vs. the Jaguars remains uncertain. Check back tomorrow for another update on Waller's status.

Raiders WR Davante Adams (illness) graduated to a full practice on Thursday. It's looks like he's just about over the flu that hampered him last week. Adams should be a full-go for Sunday's game vs. the Jaguars.

Lions TE Brock Wright (concussion) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. We'll see what he does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report. If he's cleared in time for this weekend's game vs. the Packers, Wright will split TE duties with rookie James Mitchell.

Lions RB D'Andre Swift (ankle, shoulder) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. We're expecting him to suit up for this weekend's game vs. the Packers. But Swift won't be at 100% and figures to be on a touch count.

Lions WR Josh Reynolds (back) did not practice on Thursday. It's a step back from his limited practice on Wednesday. We'll see what Reynolds does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report.

Packers WR Christian Watson (concussion) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. That gives him a shot to be cleared in time for this weekend's game vs. the Lions. We'll update Watson's progress again tomorrow.

Packers WR Allen Lazard (shoulder) put in his 2nd straight limited practice on Thursday. He has a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Lions, but we'll get another update on Lazard tomorrow.

Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard (ankle) remained limited in Thursday's practice. We'll see what he does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report for this weekend's game vs. the Bengals.

Chargers TE Donald Parham did not practice on Thursday due to a hamstring injury. He just cleared the concussion protocol but now looks iffy for this weekend's game vs. Atlanta. Parham's absence would be a slight boost to TE Gerald Everett's fantasy stock.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) remained sidelined on Thursday. He's looking unlikely to play vs. the Falcons this weekend.

Chargers RB Austin Ekeler was added to the injury report and limited on Thursday with an abdomen issue. He spoke to reporters before the workout and made no mention of an injury, so it looks like this happened during Thursday's practice. We'll see what Ekeler does in Friday's practice and how he's listed on the final injury report. His absence vs. the Falcons this weekend would leave Sony Michel as Los Angeles' likely lead back, with rookie Isaiah Spiller the #2.

Saints WR Michael Thomas will undergo surgery to repair a dislocated 2nd toe, HC Dennis Allen said Thursday. Thomas originally suffered the injury in Week 3. "I don't think there was any complication," Allen said. "I think we followed what the doctors recommended in terms of trying to rehab it and give him an opportunity to play through it. We went in and had another MRI the other day, and it hasn't healed the way that everybody was kind of hoping it would. And so surgery is the next option." Allen didn't give a timetable for Thomas' return but confirmed that he's going on IR and added that he "doesn't anticipate" Thomas playing again this season. He can be dropped from redraft rosters.

Texans WR Brandin Cooks is officially inactive for tonight's game vs. the Eagles. Try to avoid Houston's passing game if you can help it. But if you're playing 1-game DFS contests, the Texans' WRs tonight are Phillip Dorsett, Chris Moore, Tyron Johnson and Jalen Camp. Woof.
