Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bucs WR Mike Evans (calf) is expected to play vs. the Saints today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Evans only got in limited practices on Wednesday and Friday this week, but this calf issue is reportedly minor. We'll get Tampa's inactives around 11:30 am ET, but Evans can stay penciled into fantasy lineups for now.,

Bus RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is expected to play vs. the Saints today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Fournette is listed as questionable after a limited week of practice. He carries a bit more risk than usual but still sits safely inside RB1 territory in the Week 2 Rankings.

Saints RB Jameis Winston (back) is expected to play vs. the Bucs today, according to both ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Winston was limited in practice all week and listed as questionable, but we never sensed any concern about his status. We're not expecting the back to be an issue.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (rib) is not expected to play vs. the Bucs today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport tweets that Kamara has a "chance" to play but adds that, "it'll be tough." We'll get New Orleans' inactives around 11:30 am ET, but fantasy owners should currently plan on not having Kamara. Schefter and Rapoport both report that RB Mark Ingram (ankle) is expected to play through his questionable tag. Ingram racked up 30 carries and 15 targets across 2 games without Kamara last year, finishing as the RB10 and RB13 in half-PPR points. But the ankle and negative matchup vs. Tampa Bay add risk to his Week 2 fantasy profile.

Packers WR Allen Lazard (ankle) is expected to play vs. the Bears tonight, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Lazard is listed as questionable after a limited week of practice, so it's safe to assume he's still not at 100%. Lazard would be a risky Week 2 fantasy play.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that 49ers TE George Kittle (groin) is not expected to play vs. the Seahawks today. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, meanwhile, is leaving the door open for Kittle to play. He says Kittle will be a game-time decision and is "pushing to play." But Rapoport also says Kittle's injury was originally expected to cost him 3 weeks. There's a good chance that Kittle will be limited even if he does suit up today. We won't get the 49ers' inactives until a little after 3:30 pm ET.

Cardinals WR Rondale Moore might miss “a few more weeks” with his hamstring injury, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Arizona reportedly isn’t currently planning to place him on IR. WR Greg Dortch will carry upside as long as Moore is out.

The Falcons placed RB Damien Williams on IR with his rib injury. He's out for at least the next 4 games and can be dropped from fantasy rosters. Rookie RB Tyler Allgeier now has a nice opportunity to carve out a role behind RB Cordarrelle Patterson.

Titans WR Kyle Phillips (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Bills. He got in just 2 limited practices this week. The rookie had an encouraging debut last week but shouldn't be in your fantasy plans yet, especially with this shoulder issue.

Bills WR Gabriel Davis is questionable for Monday night's game against the Titans. Buffalo added him to the injury report Saturday after he sustained an ankle injury Saturday that limited his participation. Let's hope we get a status update before the Sunday games, otherwise we might have to start others over the uncertainty of Davis. Isaiah McKenzie, Jamison Crowder and Khalil Shakir stand as potential contingency plans among Buffalo wideouts, with Robert Woods, Kyle Philips and Treylon Burks in play among Titans -- plus the WRs in Monday night's Eagles-Vikings game, which kicks off after Bills-Titans.

The Colts on Saturday elevated WR Keke Coutee and K Chase McLaughlin from the practice squad. Coutee bolsters a WR corps that will go without WRs Michael Pittman (quad) and Alec Pierce (concussion) for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. McLaughlin takes over after Indy dumped K Rodrigo Blankenship.

The Colts have downgraded WR Michael Pittman (quad) to out for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. With Alec Pierce already out, Parris Campbell, Ashton Dulin and Mike Strachan suddenly look like the top 3 wideouts for Sunday's upside matchup with the Jaguars. The WR situation hurts QB Matt Ryan's fantasy upside but helps the target upside for Colts RBs and TEs. We still wouldn't have an Indy TE in play for most fantasy formats. But Nyheim Hines gets more interesting.

Cardinals DE J.J. Watt (calf) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders. He practiced Thursday for the 1st time since training camp. That, however, fell between a missed practice Wednesday and a limited Friday. He'll make for a risky IDP option even if active Sunday.

The Raiders have ruled LB Denzel Perryman (ankle) out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. He missed practice every day this week with the injury that knocked him out of the opener. We'll see about his status for Week 3. Divine Deablo led Vegas LBs in playing time in Week 1. The Raiders have also ruled out S Tre'von Moehrig. Duron Harmon should start in his place.

Cardinals S Jalen Thompson (toe) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders. We'll check his status Sunday morning.

Rams EDGE Leonard Floyd hurt a knee in Wednesday's practice and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons. HC Sean McVay said Floyd's knee checked out structurally, but he missed practice each of the past 2 days. Floyd doesn't look like a good bet to play. Even if he does, he'll be risky. Don't play to use him in IDP lineups.

Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey (groin) and CB Marcus Peters (knee) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Peters put in a full Thursday practice between 2 limited workouts. He missed Week 1 with the same issue. Humphrey popped up limited on Thursday's injury report and then missed Friday's workout. We'll check the status on both corners Sunday morning. Missing both guys would obviously put the defense in a rough spot against Miami WRs Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

Dolphins DT Christian Wilkins (back) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens. He popped up on the injury report Thursday and was limited the past 2 days. We'll check his status Sunday morning.

Patriots S Adrian Phillips (ribs) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers. He was limited all week in practice. We'll see about his status Sunday morning.

Colts CB Kenny Moore (hip) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. He sustained the injury in Wednesday's practice and then sat out Thursday. But Moore returned to a full workout Friday. So it seems we should expect him to play.
