Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He banged that shoulder up late in last week's loss to the Vikings but was able to return. Waddle should be fine for Sunday night's game vs. the Steelers, but we'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa is not listed on the Week 7 injury report. It's confirmation that he's cleared concussion protocol and will start Sunday night's game vs. the Steelers. Tua hasn't made it through a game healthy since Week 2 but opened the season with QB22 and QB2 finishes.

Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. Barring a setback, he should return for Sunday night's game vs. Miami's 27th-ranked TE defense.

Steelers QB Kenny Pickett (concussion) got in a full practice on Wednesday. HC Mike Tomlin said the rookie will start vs. the Dolphins on Sunday night if he clears concussion protocol -- and he seems on track. We'll get another update on Pickett tomorrow.

Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. He was added to the injury report last Thursday with a hammy but was off the final injury report and played vs. Arizona. We're expecting Lockett to be fine for Sunday's game vs. the Chargers but will keep an eye on him over the next few days.

Chargers WR Joshua Palmer is in concussion protocol and didn't practice on Wednesday. So his status for this weekend's game vs. the Seahawks is now in doubt. With WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) also iffy, the Chargers might be down to WRs DeAndre Carter, Michael Bandy and Jason Moore behind Mike Williams.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. But he told reporters afterward that he might sit out through the Week 8 bye. "It's going to be a thought process going into it," Allen said. "Definitely want to play it the smartest way, and if that's the best thing, then that's what it will be." We'll continue to keep an eye on the situation, but Allen owners can't yet count on him playing on Sunday vs. Seattle.

Raiders TE Darren Waller (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. He hurt that hammy early in Week 5 and still isn't ready to go coming off the bye week. He's clearly iffy for Sunday's game vs. the Texans. TE Foster Moreau (knee) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He could be a viable Week 7 fantasy play if he's healthy by Sunday and Waller is out.

Commanders WR Jahan Datson (hamstring) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday. It gives the rookie a shot to make it back for this weekend's game vs. the Packers. We'll see how he progresses over the next few days.

Commanders TEs Logan Thomas (calf) and John Bates (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. If they're unable to play vs. the Packers this weekend, Washington would be down to TEs Cole Turner and Armani Rogers.

Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. The rookie looks unlikely to make it back for this weekend's game vs. the Commanders.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (thumb) did not practice on Wednesday. He played through this issue last week but managed just 6.0 yards per attempt and 1 TD against the Jets. It looks like the thumb might still be an issue vs. the Commanders this weekend.

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (ankle) remained limited on Wednesday. He got in limited practices last Thursday and Friday but missed the Jaguars game. We're guessing Taylor returns for this weekend's game vs. the Titans, but he's certainly not a lock. We'll get another update tomorrow. RBs Nyheim Hines (concussion) and Deon Jackson (quad) put in full practices on Wednesday and should be available this weekend.

Jaguars WR Marvin Jones (hamstring) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He missed last weekend's game vs. the Colts after hurting his hamstring on Friday but seemingly has a shot to make it back for this weekend's game vs. the Giants.

Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz (knee) was listed as a full participant in Wednesday's practice. He was a surprise inactive this past Sunday night but is evidently on track to play vs. the Lions this weekend. Schultz should get QB Dak Prescott back for that one, but we'd like to see him make it through a game healthy before getting him back in fantasy lineups.

Lions WRs D.J. Chark (ankle) and Josh Reynolds (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. It's a concern coming off the bye and has both guys looking iffy for this weekend's game vs. the Cowboys. We'll see if they're able to practice tomorrow.

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. After being limited back in Week 5, St. Brown should be ready for his usual role in Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

Lions RB D'Andre Swift (ankle, shoulder) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. It'd have been nice to see a full practice coming off the bye, but Swift seems on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Cowboys. He told reporters that he's "pushing toward" playing on Sunday. Check back for another update on his status.

Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase (hip) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He seemed to make it out of last week's win over the Saints healthy, so this is likely more of a rest day. We'll get another update on Chase tomorrow.

Bucs WR Julio Jones (knee) remained sidelined on Wednesday. He hasn't played since Week 4 and is only worth stashing in deep fantasy leagues.
