Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

        11:33am UTC 11/13/22

Giants WR Kenny Golladay (knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Texans. It’ll be his first action since Week 4. Golladay totaled just 2 catches over the first 4 games of the season and isn’t a Week 10 fantasy option.

Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon (shoulder, knee, hamstring) is active for today’s game vs. the Jaguars. The hamstring was added to the injury report on Friday, when McKinnon was limited in practice, so he carries elevated risk in Week 10 fantasy lineups.

Texans WR Brandin Cooks (wrist) is active for today’s game vs. the Giants. Underwhelming even before the wrist injury and trade drama, Cooks is no better than a WR3 in Week 10 fantasy lineups. WR Nico Collins (groin) is also active for Houston and should step back in as the #2 WR.

        11:31am UTC 11/13/22

Bills QB Josh Allen (elbow) is officially active for today’s game vs. the Vikings. He got in just a limited practice on Friday and carries elevated risk in Week 10 fantasy lineups. But there’s still plenty of upside here. See where Allen sits in the QB Rankings.

Titans QB Ryan Tannehill (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Broncos. Still probably not at 100% and facing the #2 QB defense, Tannehill is not a recommended fantasy start.

The Broncos have downgraded S Justin Simmons (knee) to out for today's game against the Titans. P.J. Locke looks like the next man up, with S Caden Sterns on IR. Locke -- in his 3rd season -- has never started an NFL game and thus doesn't make for a terrific IDP option this week.

Seahawks WR Marquise Goodwin (groin) is active for this morning’s game vs. the Bucs. He’ll step back in as the #3 WR behind D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

        8:01am UTC 11/13/22

Bucs TE Cameron Brate (neck) is active for this morning’s game vs. the Seahawks. He was a full participant in practice all week. We’ll see how routes and targets are divvied between Brate and TE Cade Otton, but neither is a safe Week 10 fantasy play.

Giants WR Kenny Golladay (knee) is expected to play vs. the Texans today and "receive significant playing time," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. We still wouldn't put Golladay anywhere close to a fantasy lineup. He totaled 2 catches on 6 targets over the first 4 games of the season.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport calls Rams QB Matt Stafford (concussion) a "long shot" to play against the Cardinals today. "Not ruled out yet, but not a great chance," Rapoport adds. Our current projections assume that QB John Wolford to be under center for the Rams today.

ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Texans WR Brandin Cooks (wrist) is likely to play against the Giants today. He was limited in practice all week and listed as questionable. That follows last week's healthy scratch after Cooks demanded a trade. The team has revoked Cooks' captaincy as a result of that demand, according to Rapoport. We're expecting Cooks to play his usual role today, but there's at least some risk that that's not the case.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (knee) "may very well be held out" of today's game vs. the Packers today. "If there is any uncertainty at all, Elliott won't play," Rapoport adds. "The team will be cautious." We'll look for further updates on Zeke but won't get Dallas' inactives until 3 pm ET. We're currently projecting Elliott to miss this game, turning Tony Pollard into a RB1.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (hamstring) is not expected to play against the Rams today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. A final decision won't come until pregame warmups, but Schefter says QB Colt McCoy is "likely" to get the start. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport agrees, tweeting that Murray is "unlikely" to play. "He's still moving very gingerly," Rapoport adds. We won't get Arizona's inactives until 3 pm ET, but fantasy owners should operate under the assumption that Murray will not play.

ESPN's Adam Schefter calls Bills QB Josh Allen (elbow) "likely" to start today's game vs. the Vikings. That jibes with NFL Network's Ian Rapoport's Saturday report. "Bills officials spent intensive time this past week leaning on and listening to their doctors and other arm specialists, and the team was reassured that Allen is not at any added risk to make the injury worse if he plays," a source tells Schefter. We'll get Buffalo's inactives around 11:30 am ET, but Allen can be penciled into fantasy lineups for now.

The Commanders have ruled LB Cole Holcomb (foot) out for Monday night's game against the Eagles. They also ruled out #3 LB David Mayo, leaving Jamin Davis as the clear #1 at the position.

A source "expressed skepticism" to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler about Cardinals QB Kyler Murray's availability for Sunday's game vs. the Rams. Murray is still slated to test that injured hamstring in pregame warmups, per Fowler. QB Colt McCoy will get the start if Murray is out.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that Rams QB John Wolford is expected to start Sunday's game vs. the Rams, barring a "drastic change." QB Matt Stafford remains in the concussion protocol. We've had Wolford projected to start since Thursday.

Niners LB Dre Greenlaw (calf) has been cleared to play Sunday night against the Chargers. Greenlaw hasn't played since Week 7, so it's tough to know if he's ready for a full snap allotment. But he'll carry upside if he does. The Chargers have supplied the 5th most fantasy points per game to LBs so far this season.

Titans WR Treylon Burks (toe) has been activated from IR and will play vs. the Broncos on Sunday, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Burks has been out since going down with turf toe in Week 4. The rookie's playing time was growing before the injury, but it's unclear how big a role he'll return to out of the gate. Throw in a matchup with the league's #1 WR defense, and Burks isn't a recommended Week 10 fantasy starter.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms that Titans QB Ryan Tannehill (ankle) is expected to start Sunday's game vs. the Broncos. Tannehill practiced all week, including 1 full workout on Thursday. There's still a chance that his mobility is compromised, though, and the matchup is brutal vs. Denver's 2nd-ranked QB defense. Tannehill isn't even a recommended QB2 starter, but we'd still consider him good news for Tennessee's offense.
