Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bills LB Tremaine Edmunds (hamstring) is inactive for today's game against the Colts. That leaves A.J. Klein in position for full playing time, a role in which he delivered nice fantasy numbers last week.

Colts LB Darius Leonard (hand, ankle) is active for today's game against the Bills. Use him as you normally would in IDP lineups.

49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (finger) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Jaguars. With RB JaMycal Hasty (ankle) also out, Jeff Wilson, Kyle Juszczyk and Trey Sermon will handle backfield duties. Wilson should see the majority of the work and is a solid RB2 play. WR Deebo Samuel could also see a handful of carries again.

Browns WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (groin) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Lions. Rashard Higgins figures to operate as Cleveland’s #2 WR but would be a desperation fantasy play. Expect QB Baker Mayfield to hand it off a bunch today.

11:34am EST 11/21/21

Washington WR Curtis Samuel (groin) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Panthers. He returned to a limited practice on Friday and is reportedly eyeing a Week 12 return.

11:34am EST 11/21/21

Ravens RB Latavius Murray (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Bears. We’ll see exactly how much work he garners alongside RB Devonta Freeman, but Murray can’t be trusted in Week 11 fantasy lineups. Freeman remains a borderline RB2.

Bears WR Allen Robinson (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game against the Ravens. Marquise Goodwin and Damiere Byrd figure to serve as Chicago’s #2 and #3 WRs but aren’t fantasy options. WR Darnell Mooney and TE Cole Kmet should pick up extra targets with Robinson out.

Jaguars RB James Robinson (heel, knee) is active for today’s game vs. the 49ers. He got in 2 limited practices this week. Robinson won’t be at 100% today but remains a volume-based RB2.

11:32am EST 11/21/21

Packers WR Allen Lazard (shoulder) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Vikings. That leaves Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Randall Cobb as Green Bay’s clear #2 and #3 WRs.

Lions RB Jamaal Williams (thigh) is active for today’s game vs. the Browns. He’d be a desperation play but does figure to steal some work from RB D’Andre Swift.

11:30am EST 11/21/21

Lions QB Jared Goff (oblique) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Browns. QB Tim Boyle gets his 1st career start. We’re not expecting it to go well.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (illness) is INACTIVE for today’s game vs. the Bears. QB Tyler Huntley gets his 1st career start. Huntley went undrafted out of Utah last year and has attempted just 16 NFL passes. He completed a solid 67.2% of his college passes with 46 TDs to 20 INTs. Huntley also ran for 1,146 yards and 16 scores at Utah and is a 95th percentile athlete for his position. There’s rushing upside here, but Huntley is a clear downgrade for Baltimore’s passing game.

Eagles RB Miles Sanders (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Saints. It’ll be his 1st action since Week 7. RB Kenneth Gainwell is a healthy scratch for Philly, leaving Jordan Howard and Boston Scott alongside Sanders in the backfield. We’re expecting all 3 guys to be involved today. Sanders should lead the committee but is just a RB3 or flex play vs. New Orleans’ top-ranked RB defense.

NFL Network's James Palmer reports that the Chiefs "really don't know how much" RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee) will play vs. the Cowboys today. "I’ve been told they’ll watch pregame warmups pretty closely," Palmer added. CEH has been sidelined since Week 5. And with RB Darrel Williams playing well in his place, there's no reason for Kansas City to rush Edwards-Helaire back into a big role. It's obviously a tricky fantasy situation that might be best to avoid in Week 11 lineups. If you're picking between the 2 Chiefs, we'd go Williams.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is dealing with a "significant sickness," NFL Network's Stacey Dales reports. "Truly a 50-50 chance he plays," Dales adds. Jackson just arrived to the stadium and is set to be evaluated by team doctors to determine whether he's able to play vs. the Bears today. We'll get word at 11:30 am ET. QB Tyler Huntley will start if Jackson can't.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers' toe injury is "real and concerning," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says. Rodgers downplayed the issue this week, but he only got in a limited practice on Friday. And, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Rodgers only took about 15 reps in that practice. The lack of practice time is less of a concern than the fact that Rodgers' mobility figures to be limited by this injury. And Rapoport hears that Rodgers will likely be dealing with it for the rest of the season. We'll see how he fares vs. the Vikings today.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Washington WR Curtis Samuel (groin) has just a "small chance" to play vs. the Panthers today. He's listed as questionable, but Samuel never seemed likely to play after getting in just 1 limited practice this week. Rapoport adds that Samuel should be back for Week 12. He's been sidelined since Week 5.

Lions RB Jamaal Williams (thigh) is expected to play vs. the Browns today, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Williams averaged 10.1 carries and 2.6 targets over the season's first 7 games. He'd be a desperation fantasy play but is certainly bad news for RB D'Andre Swift's touch projection.

Browns WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (groin) "has an uphill battle" to play vs. the Lions today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Cleveland will also be without WR Anthony Schwartz (concussion), leaving WRs Rashard Higgins, Demetric Felton, J'Marcus Bradley and Lawrence Cager behind Jarvis Landry. Expect a run-heavy attack from the Browns.

Ravens RB Latavius Murray (ankle) is expected to play vs. the Bears today, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Out since Week 6, Murray figures to slot in behind RB Devonta Freeman in his return.
