Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bears WR Allen Robinson (hamstring) is inactive for today's game vs. the Lions. Darnell Mooney, Marquise Goodwin and Damiere Byrd will operate as Chicago's top 3 WRs.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says Saints RB Mark Ingram (knee) "has a chance" to play vs. the Bills tonight but adds, "it's a bit of an uphill battle to play, but no one has ruled him out." It sounds like Ingram might be a bit worse than 50/50 to play tonight. If he joins RB Alvin Kamara on the inactive list, New Orleans will be down to Tony Jones as lead back. Jones would be a borderline RB2 in that scenario.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb is still awaiting full clearance out of the concussion protocol, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms. "It's gonna be awfully tight but still theoretically possible," Rapoport adds. It sounds like we'll need to wait until Dallas' inactives come out around 3 pm ET to find out whether Lamb is playing vs. the Raiders.

Bucs HC Bruce Arians said Wednesday that he's "hopeful" to get WR Antonio Brown (ankle) back for Week 13. “He’s moving around a lot better," Arians said. "He’s able to put more weight on the heel and bounce around on it some. We’ve got our fingers crossed.” Brown will miss Sunday's game vs. the Colts. We'll monitor his progress leading up to Week 13's meeting with the Falcons.

Additional testing on Bears QB Justin Fields' ribs revealed "tiny fractures," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The injury is "not deemed major," Rapoport adds, and Fields "should return shortly." The rookie won't play against the Lions on Thanksgiving. We'll see if he can make it back for Week 13 vs. the Cardinals.

The Bears have ruled DL Akiem Hicks (ankle) out for Thursday's game against the Lions. Both starting safeties are questionable. Eddie Jackson (hamstring) remained limited in practice this week after missing the past 2 games. Tashaun Gipson (chest) seems like a surprising inclusion, after the team listed him as a full participant in each practice. DeAndre Houston-Carson and Deon Bush stand by as potential replacements.

The Lions have ruled EDGE Trey Flowers (knee) and CB A.J. Parker (ankle) out for Thursday's game against the Bears. DL Michael Brockers (knee) is questionable after being limited in practice the past 2 days.

The Saints have ruled DE Marcus Davenport out for Thursday night's game against the Bills with a shoulder injury. New Orleans will also miss DE Tanoh Kpassagnon, leaving Carl Granderson as the likely playing-time leader opposite Cameron Jordan on the D-line. Granderson has just 1 sacks and 4 total QB hits on the season and hasn't cracked 40% playing time since Week 2. Jalyn Holmes is the only other healthy true edge player on the current roster. The Saints could struggle to pressure Josh Allen this week, though Jordan and DT David Onyemata stand out in that area.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (illness) was a full-go in Wednesday's practice. He's on track to return for Sunday night's game vs. the Browns.

Ravens WR Marquise Brown (thigh) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He was limited last Friday before missing the Bears game, so we're not yet ready to say that Brown will be back for Sunday night's game vs. the Browns. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (finger, rib) put in a limited practice on Wednesday -- his 1st official workout since undergoing finger surgery early last week. We're tentatively expecting Mitchell back for Sunday's game vs. the Vikings but will keep you updated on his status.

Packers RB Aaron Jones (knee) was officially limited in Wednesday's practice. He was expected to miss 1-2 weeks with his sprained MCL, so it's possible that he's back for Sunday's game vs. the Rams. It's worth noting, though, that Green Bay has a Week 13 bye, which might factor into the decision on whether to play Jones this weekend.

Titans WR A.J. Brown (chest) did not practice on Wednesday. He's seemingly in danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Patriots. Check back tomorrow for another update on Brown.

Falcons RB Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. He seemingly had at least an outside chance of playing vs. the Patriots last Thursday night, so a return for this weekend's game vs. the Jaguars seems doable. We'll update Patterson's progress again tomorrow.

Bucs WR Antonio Brown (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. Fantasy owners shouldn't be counting on him in Week 12 lineups.

Jets WR Corey Davis (groin) was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. It sounds like he hurt his groin during the workout. We'll see if Davis is able to practice tomorrow. For now, consider him iffy for this weekend's game vs. the Texans.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (knee) is out for Thursday night's game vs. the Bills. He didn't practice all week. RB Mark Ingram (knee) is listed as questionable after putting in limited practices on Monday and Wednesday. We'll look for updates on his status and get New Orleans' inactives around 7 pm ET on Thursday. If Ingram can't go, Tony Jones would step in as the Saints' lead back.

The Dolphins have claimed RB Phillip Lindsay off waivers. He joins a backfield that has been dominated by Myles Gaskin lately. Claiming Lindsay probably means Miami would rather not give Gaskin quite so many touches. The former Texan and Bronco has faired poorly as a passing-down back throughout his career, though. So Gaskin should continue to control at least that area of Miami's backfield. We'd bet on Gaskin remaining a decent option in low RB2 territory, but his touch floor could be coming down. We'll see just what the Dolphins have in mind for Lindsay. Miami has also recently mixed Duke Johnson in and could get Malcolm Brown back from a quad injury that landed him on IR.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers told (and showed) the media on Wednesday that he's dealing with a fractured toe. He's admitted that it's an issue but certainly didn't seem bothered by it while throwing for 385 yards and 4 TDs in last week's loss to the Vikings. We'll continue to keep an eye on him but aren't adjusting Rodgers' Week 12 projections. The Packers have a Week 13 bye.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (concussion) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Raiders. He put in a limited practice on Wednesday. Dallas has been surprisingly optimistic about Lamb's chances of getting cleared for this one -- and it looks like he has a shot. We'll continuing looking for updates on Lamb's progress and will get his game status around 3 pm ET on Thursday. If Lamb is active, he should play his usual role.
