Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (back) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Ravens after a limited week of practice. He played through this issue last week, so we’re expecting him to be out there against Baltimore.
Bucs RB Leonard Fournette (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game vs. the Saints. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. HC Bruce Arians said Friday morning that Fournette will play, so you can keep him penciled into fantasy lineups for now. We'll let you know if we hear any different on his status.
Lions RB D’Andre Swift (shoulder) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Cardinals. He remained sidelined in practice all week and has no timetable for return. RB Jamaal Williams remains on the COVID list as of Friday afternoon, so we might get another game with Craig Reynolds as Detroit’s lead back.
Ravens WR Marquise Brown (illness) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Packers. He didn't practice on Thursday but returned to a limited practice on Friday. Brown should be available for Sunday's game, but we'll keep you updated on his status.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Packers. He didn’t practice all week. HC John Harbaugh said Friday that Jackson “has a chance” to play, but NFL Network's Mike Garafolo called it an "uphill battle.” At this point, we’re expecting QB Tyler Huntley to get the start for Baltimore. But we’ll keep you posted on Jackson’s status.
Rams TE Tyler Higbee has been placed back on the COVID list. He, of course, missed last week's game vs. the Cardinals after a false positive test. He presumably actually tested positive this time and is now unlikely to play vs. the Seahawks on Tuesday night. With Higbee out last week, TE Kendall Blanton caught 2 of 3 targets for 29 yards.
Bills WR Emmanuel Sanders (knee) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers. That should turn WR Gabriel Davis into a near every-down player – and a viable Week 15 fantasy starter.
Bills QB Josh Allen (foot) was limited in practice all week but isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’ll play vs. the Panthers on Sunday. That’s a negative matchup, and Allen won’t be at 100%. But he still sits comfortably inside our top 10 QBs for Week 15.
This week's Seahawks-Rams game has been moved from Sunday to Tuesday, according to multiple reports, as the Rams deal with a rash of COVID positives. This game won't be on the DFS main slate but will still count for Week 15 in season-long leagues. We'll see if RB Darrell Henderson, WR Odell Beckham and WR Tyler Lockett are able to clear COVID protocols in time for the game.
Update: This game will kick off at 7 pm ET on Tuesday.
The Washington at Philadelphia game originally scheduled for Sunday has been moved to Tuesday at 7 pm ET due to The Football Team's COVID outbreak, insider Albert Breer reports. This game won't be on the DFS main slate but will still count for Week 15 in season-long leagues. We'll see if any of Washington's players currently on the COVID list are activated by Tuesday. The extra 2 days can't hurt Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who is recovering from what's been reported as a high-ankle sprain. Washington WR Terry McLaurin and RB J.D. McKissic will have a better chance to clear concussion protocol before kickoff.
Saints RB Mark Ingram was activated from the COVID list and practiced on Friday. He should play vs. the Bucs on Sunday night, providing a change of pace behind RB Alvin Kamara.
The Raiders at Browns game originally scheduled to kick off at 4:30 pm ET on Saturday is being moved to Monday due to the rash of COVID positives on the Browns, according to insider Josina Anderson. Even that is probably still subject to change based on more positive COVID tests in Cleveland. We'll see if any of the Browns currently on the COVID list -- namely Baker Mayfield, Case Keenum, Jarvis Landry and Austin Hooper -- are activated before Monday. But, as of now, we'd still plan on not having those guys in Week 15 fantasy lineups.
Update: Raiders-Browns will kick off at 5 pm ET on Monday, per Fox Sports' Jay Glazer.
Giants WR Sterling Shepard (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys. It's a new injury for Shepard, who'd just returned from a quad. At less than 100% and in a struggling offense, Shepard isn't a recommended Week 15 fantasy starter.
The Browns on Friday added DE Jadeveon Clowney to the COVID list after he tested positive. That will knock him out of Saturday's game against the Raiders. It's not clear who will fill in for Clowney, as the only DE remaining on the active roster is Myles Garrett. Porter Gustin, Joe Jackson and Curtis Weaver are candidates on the practice squad.
Giants QB Daniel Jones (neck) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Cowboys. QB Mike Glennon will get another start, but QB Jake Fromm reportedly might mix in. It’s obviously a situation to avoid in fantasy lineups.
Patriots RB Damien Harris (hamstring) has been downgraded to out for Saturday night's game vs. the Colts. He'd been listed as questionable after a limited week of practice. His absence will leave Rhamondre Stevenson to dominate early-down work. Stevenson will lose passing-down snaps to RB Brandon Bolden but looks like a RB2 with upside.
Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. Washington. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday but put in a full practice on Friday. That suggests that Hurts is likely to play on Sunday -- but we're also expecting his rushing ability to be limited as he returns from what was reportedly a high-ankle sprain.
Washington WR Curtis Samuel (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Eagles. It's a new injury for Samuel, who had been dealing with a groin issue since the spring. It's been a lost season for the man who signed a 3-year, $34.5 million deal in March.
Bucs RB Leonard Fournette (ankle) put in a full practice on Friday and will play vs. the Saints on Sunday night, HC Bruce Arians said. It looks like Fournette's absences on Wednesday and Thursday were precautionary. New Orleans ranks 1st in adjusted fantasy points allowed to RBs, but Fournette is still a RB1 for Week 15 thanks to volume and the strength of Tampa's offense.
Saints HC Sean Payton has tested positive for COVID and will miss Sunday night's game vs. the Bucs. One of the best offensive minds in the game and New Orleans' play caller, Payton's absence will be felt. Consider it a slight downgrade for QB Taysom Hill and RB Alvin Kamara.
