Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Bills S Jordan Poyer (elbow) is active for today's game against the Lions.
Giants WRs Wan’Dale Robinson (hamstring) and Kenny Golladay (hamstring) are active for today’s game vs. the Lions. Robinson got in just 2 limited practices this week, adding risk to his fantasy profile. Golladay should be nowhere near fantasy lineups.
Patriots WR DeVante Parker (knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Jets. He’s popped for a few viable fantasy outings this season but hasn’t been a reliable play. Parker shouldn’t be in Week 11 season-long lineups.
Lions WR D.J. Chark (ankle) is officially active for today’s game vs. the Giants. It’s unclear how big a role he’ll play in his 1st action since Week 3, so Chark isn’t a recommended fantasy start today.
Browns TE David Njoku (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Bills. He got in just limited practices on Thursday and Friday, so it’s safe to assume that Njoku still isn’t at 100%. This is also a tough matchup, so Njoku sits a bit lower in the Week 11 TE Rankings than his early-season production deserves.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (illness) is active for today’s game vs. the Panthers. He missed Friday’s practice but should be a full go for this one.
Ravens TE Mark Andrews (shoulder, knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Panthers. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, so we’re expecting Andrews to play his usual role in this one.
Ravens RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Panthers. That again leaves backfield duties to Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill. Drake racked up 24 carries and 2 targets in Baltimore’s win over the Saints, prior to the Week 10 bye.
FOX's Peter Schrager reports that QB Colt McCoy is expected to start Monday night against the 49ers. That would mean a 2nd straight missed game for QB Kyler Murray (hamstring). We're updating the Week 11 fantasy football rankings to reflect the QB change, though the QB switch shouldn't make a huge difference for the outlooks of Arizona pass-catchers.
Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase (hip) is "improving" and got "very good news" on his rehab at a recent doctor appointment, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Chase is off crutches, per Rapoport, and "has a chance" to practice and play this coming week. We'll keep a close eye on Chase's progress when Cincinnati gets back to work on Wednesday.
The Cowboys plan to give RB Tony Pollard "a little bit more in terms of touches" than RB Ezekiel Elliott agains the Vikings today, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. Dallas wants to "ease Elliott back in" coming off an LCL injury and "significant contusion all the way down his shin" back in Week 7, per Pelissero. Elliott will wear a brace on that knee today. Consider him a TD-dependent RB3 play in fantasy lineups. Pollard is a RB2.
Vikings WR Justin Jefferson is dealing with a "mild" case of turf toe, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Jefferson was limited in practice this week and "will need to be managed going forward," per Pelissero. But the injury "isn't expected to impact the Vikings' superstar receiver much" in today's game vs. the Cowboys. Turf toe can be a debilitating injury, so this is certainly worth keeping a close eye on. But Jefferson should stay glued into Week 11 fantasy lineups.
We've got a good ol' fashioned Rapoport vs. Schefter battle on our hands! NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Ravens RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) is not expected to play vs. the Panthers today. Schefter reports that Edwards is expected to play, "but it could be in a limited manner." It sounds Edwards should be on fantasy benches even if he ends up active today. But his status will have a significant impact on where RB Kenyan Drake settles in the final RB Rankings. We'll get Baltimore's inactives around 11:30 am ET.
Cowboys EDGE Demarcus Lawrence is expected to play today against the Vikings, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Lawrence is officially questionable and missed the 1st 2 days of practice this week. He returned for a full Friday workout, though. We haven't moved Lawrence down the Week 11 IDP rankings.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Marcus Mariota will remain the Falcons' starting QB for the "foreseeable future." Atlanta still has a shot to make the playoffs, and it sounds like Mariota will remain under center until that's no longer the case. A source does tell Rapoport that the Falcons "love the development" they've seen from QB Desmond Ridder. There's still a good chance we see the rookie in the final game or 2 of the season.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms that Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (illness) will play against the Panthers today. Jackson missed Friday's practice, but his availability for this one never seemed to be in question. Jackson is safe to use as you normally would in fantasy lineups.
The Vikings expect EDGE Za'Darius Smith (knee) to play today against the Cowboys, but it sounds like his snaps could be limited vs. usual. "They'll be smart with him, given the quick turnaround for a Thanksgiving game, and make sure he's on the field in pass-rush situations," NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. A Vikings beat writer before going national, Pelissero undoubtedly has insight into this situation. Smith, of course, is primarily useful to IDP lineups as a pass-rusher. So he's still usable for fantasy football today. But weigh his potential limitation vs. your other options. We knocked Smith down the Week 11 IDP rankings a little this morning.
The Ravens expect TE Mark Andrews (knee, shoulder) to play today against the Panthers, NFL Network reports. An active Andrews belongs in nearly all fantasy football lineups. His return makes Isaiah Likely a bench guy.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that both Chargers WRs Keenan Allen (hamstring) and Mike Williams (ankle) are expected to play tonight against the Chiefs. Both are officially questionable, which adds some risk to waiting for the Sunday night kickoff. But each also finished the week with a full practice.
Raiders WR Davante Adams (abdomen) is expected to play today against the Broncos, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Adams is officially questionable after being limited in practice all week but should be in your fantasy football plans for Week 11.
