Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Cardinals S Budda Baker (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams -- and sounds highly questionable at that. HC Kliff Kingsbury said Friday that he had been told early in the week that there was a "zero percent" chance Baker would play. The safety managed a limited practice Friday after missing the previous 2 days. Kingsbury said the team would be "really smart" in deciding whether to play him. We'll see about his status Sunday, but it doesn't seem as though you should plan to have Baker available for IDP lineups.

Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury said Friday that QB Kyler Murray (hamstring) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Rams. We've heard that about a number of Arizona's questionable players this season. We'll certainly be watching for signals on Murray's status throughout the weekend. If he can't go, it'll be Colt McCoy.

The Bills have ruled out S Jordan Poyer (elbow) and EDGE Greg Rousseau (ankle) for Sunday's game against the Vikings. Jaquan Johnson figures to start next to Damar Hamlin again in Poyer's absence.

Packers HC Matt LaFleur told reporters Friday that CB Eric Stokes is "unlikely" to play the rest of the season after suffering ankle and knee injuries in the loss to the Lions. That will leave Green Bay without a starting corner, but the team remains in decent shape at the position. Keisean Nixon looks like the new #3 CB, with Jaire Alexander and Rasul Douglas.

Bucs TE Cameron Brate (neck) is listed as questionable for Sunday morning’s game vs. the Seahawks. He was a full-go in practice all week, so we’re expecting him to play. But we’ll get Tampa Bay’s inactives around 8 am ET on Sunday. Assuming Brate plays, neither he nor TE Case Otton will be a reliable fantasy play.

Browns LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. His playing time had already been shaky, so this shouldn't carry too much IDP impact. It does solidify Deion Jones and Sione Takitaki as the team's top 2 LBs for the game. See where they stand in our Week 10 IDP rankings.

The Colts have ruled LB Shaquille Leonard (back, ankle) out for Sunday's game against the Raiders. That should return LB Bobby Okereke to full playing time. We've moved him up the Week 10 IDP rankings.

Browns TE David Njoku (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Dolphins. We’ll see if he can make it back from the high-ankle sprain for Week 11. When Njoku missed Cleveland’s last game, TE Harrison Bryant ran a route on just 42% of pass plays and finished without a target, so he’s not a bankable fantasy spot starter.

Bills HC Sean McDermott said in a Friday morning radio appearance that QB Josh Allen (elbow) has not been ruled out for this weekend's game vs. the Vikings. Of course, there's no reason for Buffalo to rule out Allen at this point of the week. McDermott continues to describe Allen as "day-to-day," so we're expecting him to be listed as questionable on the final injury report later today. We're still projecting Allen to miss Sunday's game, but we'll continue to keep you updated on his status.

Commanders LB Cole Holcomb missed Thursday's practice with the foot injury that has cost him the past 2 games. That doesn't bode well for Holcomb's chances of returning this week. Jamin Davis led the team's LBs at 85% playing time with Holcomb out Sunday, with Jonathan Bostic following at 65%.

Titans EDGE Bud Dupree (hip), DL Jeffery Simmons (ankle), LB Zach Cunningham (elbow), S Amani Hooker (shoulder) and CB Kristian Fulton (hamstring) missed Thursday's practice. Simmons has played the past 2 weeks despite missing both practice weeks. His playing time increased last game vs. the 1 before. We'll see about the whole group Friday.

Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) and S Marcus Maye (abdomen) missed practice for the 2nd straight day Thursday. We'll see whether either can make it back for Friday's practice.

Raiders LB Denzel Perryman (hip, ribs) returned to a limited practice Thursday after missing Wednesday. If he's ready to play Sunday, he should lead the team's LBs in snaps. Divine Deablo landed on IR this week, and Blake Martinez retired Thursday. An active Perryman will be a strong play in a high-upside matchup for LBs.

The Colts added LB Shaquille Leonard to the injury report Thursday after he missed practice with back and ankle issues. It might have been a rest/maintenance day for the veteran, but it's the 1st practice he has missed since Week 6. So it's clearly not a good thing. We'll see what Friday holds for him.

Bills LB Matt Milano (oblique) returned to full practice Thursday, which should put him on track to return for Sunday's game against the Vikings. LB Tremaine Edmunds (groin, heel), S Jordan Poyer (elbow) and EDGE Gregory Rousseau (ankle) remained out, however. That bodes ill for their Week 10 chances. We'll see what Friday brings.

Commanders RB J.D. McKissic (neck) remained sidelined on Thursday. He was reportedly set to visit a specialist for that neck injury, but we haven't heard an update on his status. McKissic seems iffy for Monday night's game vs. the Eagles. His absence would be a boost for RB Antonio Gibson.

Commanders WR Jahan Dotson (hamstring) got in a limited practice on Thursday. We'll see if the rookie can make it back for Monday night, but he wouldn't be a recommended fantasy play vs. the Eagles' 4th-ranked WR defense.

Bucs WR Russell Gage (hamstring) did not make the trip to Germany and is out for Sunday morning's game vs. the Seahawks. Scotty Miller finished 3rd among Bucs WRs with a 52% route rate last week; Julio Jones was 4th at 35%. Chris Godwin and Mike Evans remain the only bankable fantasy plays in this WR corps.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen (hamstring) remained sidelined on Thursday. He's a big long shot to play vs. the 49ers this weekend, again leaving Josh Palmer and DeAndre Carter as Los Angeles' top 2 WRs.

Rams QB Matt Stafford (concussion) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice. He has a long way to go to get cleared in time for Sunday's game vs. the Cardinals. At this point, it's looking more likely than not that it's John Wolford under center for Los Angeles in that one. We'll update Stafford's status again on Friday afternoon.
