Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Seahawks TE Gerald Everett remains on the COVID list as of Friday afternoon. Check Shark Bites to see if he’s cleared in time for Sunday’s game vs. the 49ers, but Everett shouldn’t be in your fantasy plans right now.

Broncos RB Melvin Gordon (ribs, lower leg) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Ravens. We haven't heard any concern about his status, but check back Sunday to make sure he's active. Gordon's absence would turn RB Javonte Williams into a strong fantasy play.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (back) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Broncos. He sat out the first 2 practices of the week but was a full-go on Friday. WR Marquise Brown said Jackson looked “real good.” He’s fully expected to start vs. Denver, but check back Sunday for confirmation.

Titans TE Anthony Firkser (knee) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. He’ll play vs. the Jets after missing the past 2 games. Firkser could be in for an expanded role in the passing game with WRs A.J. Brown and Julio Jones out, making him an intriguing DFS flier.

Jets TE Tyler Kroft (ribs) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Titans. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice, so he should play. But hopefully you have a better fantasy option.

Bucs WR Antonio Brown was activated from the COVID list and is expected back for Sunday night’s game vs. the Patriots. Brown should pick up some extra work in that one with TE Rob Gronkowski unlikely to play.

The Texans on Friday placed LB Zach Cunningham and DL Ross Blacklock on the COVID list. That means neither guy will be available for Sunday's game against the Bills. Cunningham is a big loss for IDP lineups. Expect Kamu Grugier-Hill to start in his place. Christian Kirksey also gets an opportunity boost.

Bucs TE Rob Gronkowski (ribs) is listed as doubtful for Sunday night's game vs. the Patriots. He didn't practice all week. It's a surprise after reports that Gronk was on track to play in this one. He obviously should be on fantasy benches now. We'll let you know if his status changes. TEs Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard figure to split pass-catching duties with Gronkowski out, leaving both guys as unreliable fantasy plays.

Packers RB Aaron Jones (ankle) was limited in practice all week but isn’t listed on the final injury report. He should be ready for his usual role against the Steelers this weekend.

Jets WR Jamison Crowder (groin) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game against the Titans. He put in a full practice on Friday, so we're expecting him to make his 2021 debut on Sunday. Of course, Crowder is a weak fantasy play on a struggling Jets offense.

Dolphins WR Will Fuller (chest, elbow) isn't listed on the final injury report. After missing Wednesday's practice, he was limited on Thursday and a full-go on Friday. It doesn't look like we need to worry about the injuries, but Fuller is a fringe fantasy option with Jacoby Brissett under center.

Colts QB Carson Wentz (ankles) remained limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Dolphins. He'll start, but this is a reminder that he's still operating at less than 100%.

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Dolphins after a limited week of practice. We've heard nothing to suggest that Taylor is in danger of missing this one, but his status is worth checking on when inactives come out around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Colts TE Jack Doyle (back) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Dolphins. He returned to a limited practice on Friday after missing the previous 2 days. Doyle at less than 100% should be nowhere near fantasy lineups. Mo Alie-Cox would step in as Indianapolis' lead TE on Sunday if Doyle can't play.

Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) is out for Sunday’s game against the Steelers. Allen Lazard should step into the #2 WR role, with Randall Cobb also picking up some extra snaps in the slot.

Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (ribs) isn’t listed on the final injury report and will play vs. the Packers on Sunday. His target projection gets a boost if WR Chase Claypool sits with his hamstring injury.

Steelers WR Diontae Johnson (knee) practiced all week and isn't listed on the final injury report. He'll be back for Sunday's game vs. the Packers. Johnson racked up 22 targets over the first 2 games of the season and should be in for heavy volume again in Week 4.

Steelers WR Chase Claypool (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Packers. He hurt his hamstring on Thursday and then didn't practice on Friday, so we're not expecting Claypool to play on Sunday. He'd be placed by WR James Washington.

Vikings RB Dalvin Cook (ankle) expects to play vs. the Browns this weekend, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Cook says his ankle is currently at 90%. Even at 90%, Cook is a strong Week 4 fantasy start.

Bears QB Andy Dalton (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions after a limited week of practice. HC Matt Nagy has yet to name a starter after saying earlier in the week that Dalton, Justin Fields and Nick Foles were all in consideration. We'll let you know as soon as we hear who's getting the call for Chicago.
