The QB also picked up 13 rushing yards on four carries.

The Giants have announced that QB Jaxson Dart remains in the concussion protocol and will not play Sunday against the Lions. That'll mean a second straight start for Jameis Winston.

The forecast for today's Packers-Giants game calls for sustained winds of 20 mph with gusts between 30-40 mph. That's enough to likely impact play-calling, as well as deep throws and longer kicks. Saints QB Derek Carr has announced he'll retire. We already knew there was a chance he'd miss some or all of the coming season because of an injury to his right shoulder. But this news obviously heightens the importance of rookie QB Tyler Shough's quick development and/or another plan for a "bridge" starter.

The Giants are signing QB Russell Wilson to a one-year deal. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that it's worth "up to" $21 million, with $10.5 million of that guaranteed.

The Giants have agreed to a two-year deal with QB Jameis Winston. NFL Network reports that it's worth $8 million total, clear backup money at the position. FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz adds, however, that incentives could push it as high as $16 million. Winston spent last year with the Browns after four seasons with the Saints. He turned 31 in January.

The Browns will start QB Bailey Zappe for Saturday's finale against the Ravens, according to multiple reports. That doesn't necessarily mean we won't see Dorian Thompson-Robinson, though.
