Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
In a superb match-up, Williams ran for 2 TDs in the Rams win over the Raiders. He rushed 21 times for 76 yards, but did not see any targets in the game. He remains a top five RB option for the rest of the season.
Rookie Raiders TE Brock Bowers caught 10-of-14 targets for 93 yards. He failed again to find the end zone, but rewarded fantasy managers as one of the top scoring TEs again this week.
Bills RB James Cook returned from injury and had the majority of RB touches (12 compared to nine for the rest of the Bills’ RBs). Cook finished with a stat line of 12 rushes for 32 yards and a TD. Ray Davis only had five carries but ran for 41 yards and a TD.
Bills WR Amari Cooper started the game with a drop, but caught a TD pass to start the day. He ended up catching 4-of-5 targets for 66 yards and a TD. It was a fine performance after joining the team this week.
Titans QB Mason Rudolph played over Will Levis and had a below average day to boost the Titans passing game. Rudolph completed 25-of-40 passes for 215 yards. He had a TD and INT. Rudolph also ran for 13 yards.
Seahawks WR DK Metcalf caught a long 35-yard TD Pass against the Falcons. He ended with four catches for 99 yards and that lone TD. Metcalf had 7 targets as well.
Falcons RB Bijan Robinson looks like he is finally hitting his stride ending with 21 carries against the Seahawks for 103 yards and a TD. He also caught 3-of-5 targets for 40 yards. He had 24 touches while Tyler Allgeier only had six.
QB Geno Smith had a good outing on Sunday in the Seahawks win. He completed 18-of-28 passes for 207 yards and 2 TDs. He also ran for 15 yards.
Falcons WR Drake London has caught a TD in three straight games and in five of the last six. He finished catching 6-of-8 targets against the Seahawks for 63 yards and a TD.
Jets CB D.J. Reed (groin) is inactive for Sunday night's game against the Steelers. That leaves the Jets down two of their top three at the position, with slot CB Michael Carter already out. Good thing for them Pittsburgh only has one WR, and he only tries half the time.
Jets TE Tyler Conklin (hip) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Steelers. He played through this issue last week but registered a season-low 66% route rate. With WR Davante Adams set to make his Jets debut tonight, Conklin figures to have a tough time drawing targets. He’s not a recommended Week 7 fantasy starter.
Bengals WR Tee Higgins led the team with 82 yards on 8 targets in Week 7. He’s now out-targeted Ja’Marr Chase in four straight games, with totals of 38-30.
49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk injured his right knee in the second quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Chiefs. He headed straight into the blue medical tent. San Francisco is already without WR Jauan Jennings (hip) today, while WR Deebo Samuel is playing very limited snaps due to his illness. We'll update Aiyuk's status when we know more.
Update: Aiyuk was carted to the locker room and has been ruled out.
Raiders QB Aidan O'Connell is believed to have suffered a broken right thumb in the first half of Sunday's game vs. the Rams, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Considering that's his throwing hand, the injury figures to cost O'Connell multiple weeks. Vegas will turn back to QB Gardner Minshew, who was benched for O'Connell after Week 5.
Browns HC Kevin Stefanski said after Sunday's loss to the Bengals that QB Deshaun Watson is believed to have a torn Achilles. We should get confirmation on Monday. A torn Achilles would end Watson's season and threaten his availability for the start of the 2025 campaign. Cleveland also lost QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson to a finger injury against Cincinnati, leaving QB Jameis Winston at the controls. Consider Winston the favorite to start next weekend's game vs. the Ravens.
Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the 49ers with a hamstring injury. This is presumably the same hamstring that limited JuJu in practice this week. We'll update his status when we know more.
Raiders QB Aidan O'Connell injured his right thumb in the first quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Rams and is questionable to return. He's been replaced by QB Gardner Minshew. We'll update O'Connell's status when we know more.
Commanders QB Jayden Daniels suffered a rib injury in the first quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Panthers. He headed back to the locker room and is officially questionable to return. We'll update Daniels' status when we know more. He's been replaced by QB Marcus Mariota.
Update: Daniels has been ruled out. He returned to the sidelines for the second half, though. And Daniels' mom tweeted that he's "fine."
Browns QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson was knocked out of Sunday's game vs. the Bengals with a fourth-quarter finger injury. With QB Deshaun Watson exiting earlier with an Achilles injury, QB Jameis Winston finished out the game for Cleveland. He gave the Browns the best QB play they've seen this season, completing 5 of 11 passes for 67 yards and a score. We'll see about the Watson and Thompson-Robinson injuries. But if the Browns are serious about winning, Winston will be under center going forward. He's worth adding in 2-QB and Superflex leagues.
49ers WR Deebo Samuel is dealing with an illness and didn't do much in pregame warmups. He's still expected to play vs. the Chiefs, according to The Athletic's Matt Barrows. Barring another report on his role today, Samuel should stay in fantasy lineups unless you have another strong option.
