Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bears QB Caleb Williams completed only 10 passes for 131 yards and ran 10 times for 41 yards. He struggled for most of the game only getting over 100 passing yards in the fourth quarter. He had combined for nine passing TDs over the last four games but was held to no TDs in the game.

With the game out of hand early, Walker only carried the ball nine times for 12 yards. He did catch four of five targets for 33 yards, but it was a disappointing day for a talented RB in a positive match-up.

Bills RB James Cook had a career game against the Seahawks running the ball 17 times for 111 yards and two TDs. He also caught all three targets for 22 yards in the game. Cook has been inconsistent, but has explosive potential in positive match-ups.

Bills QB Josh Allen competed 24-of-34 passes for 286 yards and two TDs. He also threw an interception in the game. With RB James Cook dominating on the ground, Allen did his damage in the passing game, only rushing for 25 yards in the contest.

The Falcons and Buccaneers celebrated National TE Day with Kyle Pitts and Cade Otton each scoring two TDs. Pitts ended catching four of five targets for 91 yards while Otton caught nine of 10 targets for 81 yards. Pitts nearly gave one of his away with a fumble over the goal line, but was ruled a TD.

Falcons WR Drake London only caught four of his six targets for 34 yards in the Falcons win over the Buccaneers. On a day when QB Kirk Cousins threw for 276 yards and four TDs, London came up on the short end of the stick.

Falcons WR Darnell Mooney led the team in receiving catching five of seven targets including a TD. With QB Kirk Cousins throwing four TDs on the day, Mooney was the beneficiary of that strong passing attack from Cousins.

Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield completed 37-of-50 passes for 330 yards and three TDs. He also had two INTs on the day, but showed that he can produce even without WRs Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

Packers TE Tucker Kraft caught all three targets today for 78 yards and a TD, leading the team in receiving yards. Kraft continues to be a consistent option in the Packers passing game and has solidified his role.

Packers RB Josh Jacobs ran the ball 25 times for 127 yards and 2 TDs over the Jaguars. With QB Jordan Love being knocked out with a groin injury, Jacobs carried the offense in the win.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence completed 21-of-32 passes for 308 yards and 2 TDs as well as 1 INT. He also ran for an additional TD in the game. The Jaguars played a close game, but were unable to seal the victory.

Titans RB Tony Pollard had a solid day on the ground rushing 20 times for 94 yards while addding three receptions on four targets for 23 yards. He was effective, but the Titans got down early and had to rely on the pass more than usual.

Lions RBs Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery combined with 20 carries for 160 yards and two TDs on the ground. Montgomery, who only had 33 rushing yards, also added a TD pass. Both also had one reception in the game.

Lions QB Jared Goff had as many incompletions as TDs in the Lions domination of the Titans. He completed 12-of-15 passes for 85 yards and three TDs.

Saints RB Kendre Miller was knocked out of Sunday's game vs. the Chargers with a hamstring injury. It's unclear if this is the same hamstring that cost him all of August and the first six games of the season. Miller had already emerged as New Orleans' No. 2 RB, but he simply has not been able to stay healthy since arriving in Round 3 of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley ran for 108 yards on 22 carries in Sunday's win over the Bengals. And he was close to making it an even bigger game.

49ers TE George Kittle (foot) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Cowboys. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday, and there never seemed to be much concern about his availability for this one. If you were waiting on Kittle, get him in your starting lineup.

49ers WR Deebo Samuel (illness, wrist) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Cowboys. He was hospitalized on Monday with fluid in his lungs but was able to get in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer said this morning that Samuel is “good to go” for tonight’s game, so it sounds like he won’t be on a snap count.

Cowboys RB Rico Dowdle (illness) will be inactive for tonight's game vs. the 49ers, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. That'll leave the backfield to Dalvin Cook, Ezekiel Elliott, and Hunter Luepke. Cook is the best fantasy bet if you were planning to start Dowdle, but it's a backfield to avoid if possible.

There’s "optimism" that Packers QB Jordan Love avoided a long-term groin injury, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Love is set for additional testing on Monday to get a better look at the damage. We should get a timeline for his return then. It's worth noting that the Packers have a Week 10 bye, although Love will surely play in next Sunday's big game against the Lions if he's able.
