Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Cowboys WR Noah Brown (foot) was a limited practice participant again on Wednesday. Week 16's showdown against the Eagles is on Saturday, so tomorrow's practice report will bring vital information. Stay tuned on more news regarding Brown's final injury status.

Patriots RBs Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) and Damien Harris (thigh) both recorded their 2nd-straight limited practices on Thursday. It is still up in the air regarding which players will shoulder the rushing workload for the Pats on Saturday vs. the Bengals. We'll keep an eye out tomorrow regarding the health of this duo ahead of Week 16 action. If one or both cannot go, check your waiver wire for Pierre Strong Jr. and Kevin Harris.

Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers (shoulder) was a limited participant at practice on Wednesday. Veteran WR DeVante Parker (concussion) did not participate again for the 2nd consecutive day. It seems that Meyers is far likelier to play than Parker at this point. Tomorrow will tell us more about Meyers' availability for Week 16's matchup vs. the Bengals. Check back later.

Bengals TE Hayden Hurst (calf) practiced in a limited fashion for the 2nd day in a row on Wednesday. The final practice report for Saturday's game vs. the Patriots will come out tomorrow, so stay tuned as we learn more. Hurst's availability could go either way for Week 16.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) logged full participation in practice on Wednesday. This is a big improvement over the limited participation the wideout recorded yesterday. Higgins seems likely to suit up for Saturday's game vs. the Patriots. Check back tomorrow for the final injury report for Week 16.

Saints WR Chris Olave (hamstring) did not practice again on Wednesday. Teammate Jarvis Landry popped up on the practice report for the first time with an ankle injury of his own. It's unclear what the Saints WR corps will look like on Saturday in Week 16 vs. the Browns. Be on the lookout for updates tomorrow that will shed some more light.

Browns WR Amari Cooper (hip) was given another rest day again on Wednesday. TE David Njoku kept his limited participation going as well. We didn't get much new information today ahead of Saturday's game vs. the Saints. Check back tomorrow once we learn more about these two.

Browns RB Nick Chubb (foot) was a no-go at practice for the 2nd day in a row. Tomorrow's practice report will provide the final word on Chubb's ability to suit up vs. the Saints on Saturday. If Chubb can't go in Week 16, it would be a big boost to both Kareem Hunt and potentially D'Ernest Johnson. We'll stay on top of this one. Losing a top back like Chubb in the fantasy playoffs would certainly be disappointing.

Bears WR Chase Claypool (knee) didn't practice on Wednesday after being a limited participant yesterday. Teammate Equanimeous St. Brown (concussion) did not participate either, bringing the likelihood that he plays into significant question. The Bears Week 16 matchup against the Bills is on Saturday so tomorrow's report will give us final word on these guys. We'll keep an eye out.

Titans insider Paul Kuharsky hears that QB Ryan Tannehill is "very likely" done for the season with an ankle injury that may require surgery. Tannehill has hurt this right ankle twice this season -- but was surprisingly allowed to re-enter last week's loss to the Chargers. His absence leaves QB Malik Willis at the controls the rest of the way. The rookie made 2 starts the first time Tannehill went down, TOTALING 135 passing yards on 26 attempts. Tennessee will go as run-heavy as possible with Willis, tanking the fantasy value of pass catchers like TE Chig Okonkwo and WR Treylon Burks.

Broncos RB Chase Edmonds (ankle) has been designated to return from IR. He's been out since Week 11 -- his 2nd game with the Broncos. Edmonds will not be a fantasy option the rest of this season, but his return could ding RB Latavius Murray's volume a tad. We'll see if Edmonds is able to play vs. the Rams on Sunday.

Seahawks TE Noah Fant (knee) was not a participant in practice again on Wednesday. This marks the 2nd day in a row the TE did not log any practice. At this point, it doesn't seem like he'll be playing against the Chiefs on Saturday. We'll get a final word on his Week 16 status tomorrow though. Keep an eye out for updates.

Seahawks WR Marquise Goodwin (wrist, ankle) was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. It's troubling to see the veteran downgrade from full participation on Tuesday. Already expected to be without WR Tyler Lockett, an absence from Goodwin would be bad news for QB Geno Smith. With the game vs. the Chiefs in line to kick off Saturday, tomorrow's practice report will give the final word on Goodwin. Stay tuned.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker (ankle) did not practice again on Wednesday. Teammate DeeJay Dallas (ankle) is moving in a positive direction and logged a limited practice ahead of Week 16. A final injury status for both Walker and Dallas will come on tomorrow's report. We'll know more about who is healthy enough to play against the Chiefs on Saturday soon.

Commanders RB Antonio Gibson (foot) was limited at practice again on Wednesday. Rookie Brian Robinson (quad) logged his 2nd straight full practice. Saturday's Week 16 game vs. the 49ers is just around the corner. Though the 49ers D ranks as the 2nd-toughest matchup in adjusted points allowed to RBs, Robinson would have the backfield mostly to himself if Gibson ultimately does not play. Neither RB is more than a flex consideration regardless of what happens though. We'll keep an eye on this and report back tomorrow.

49ers WR Deebo Samuel (ankle, knee) did not practice for the 2nd straight day on Wednesday. This is unsurprising given that HC Kyle Shanahan said in so many words he wasn't expecting Samuel to suit up anyway. There is a better chance for Samuel to play in Week 17. We'll keep an eye on this just in case something changes, but plan to be without Samuel on Saturday vs. the Commanders.

Steelers QB Kenny Pickett (concussion) practiced fully for the 2nd day in a row. HC Mike Tomlin said earlier this week that he expected the rookie to clear concussion protocol and start against the Raiders on Saturday. This week's practice reports reflect that. While the Raiders rank as the 3rd-best matchup in adjusted points allowed to QBs, the weather in Pittsburgh may cause passing the ball to be challenging for both teams. As such, Pickett is a low-end QB2 worthy of consideration in superflex leagues only.

Steelers RB Najee Harris (hip) did not practice on Wednesday. The second-year back was a limited participant yesterday, however. This development should give fantasy managers some pause. That said, we do have tomorrow's report to give us better clarity. Jaylen Warren and Benny Snell Jr. would potentially stand to benefit from a Harris absence on Saturday. Keep an eye out on the waiver wire just in case.

Steelers WR Diontae Johnson (toe) did not practice on Wednesday after logging a limited practice the day before. This downward trend does not bode well for his availability for Saturday's Week 16 game vs. the Raiders. Let's see what happens tomorrow before any advice starts flying around. Stay tuned.

Falcons RB Cordarrelle Patterson did not practice on Wednesday as part of a veteran rest day. There is no concern about him missing Saturday's Week 16 game vs. the Ravens at this point. We'll keep an eye on this one for good measure just in case.
