Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Steelers RB Najee Harris (knee) put in a full practice on Wednesday. HC Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Harris was dealing with "knee discomfort," but it's obviously not a major issue. Harris should be ready for his usual workload vs. the Bengals on Sunday.

As expected, Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase (hip) did not practice on Wednesday. He was still on crutches as of Monday, and the latest report has the Bengals hoping for a Week 12 return.

Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (knee) remained limited in practice on Wednesday. He was limited all 3 days last week before missing the Packers game. Zeke's status for Sunday's contest vs. the Vikings remains uncertain.

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson (toe) was limited in Wednesday's practice. We don't have any other information on the toe issue, but we'd have likely heard something by now if it was serious. Jefferson can stay penciled into Week 11 fantasy lineups. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. While he reportedly avoided a significant injury, his availability for this weekend's game vs. the Raiders is up in the air. For now, fantasy owners should prepare as if Jeudy won't play in that one. We'll update his status again tomorrow.

Lions RB D'Andre Swift (ankle, shoulder) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. It's an upgrade over his limited participation last Wednesday. Swift seems to be trending in the right direction but remains a risky fantasy play until we actually see him get ample volume on a Sunday.

Rams QB Matt Stafford (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. He's evidently still in the protocol but is well on his way to being cleared for this weekend's game vs. the Saints.

Patriots WR DeVante Parker (knee) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. That gives him a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Jets. Parker has been sidelined since the 1st game vs. the Jets back in Week 8.

Jets WR Corey Davis (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. HC Robert Saleh said prior to the Week 10 bye that Davis had a shot to return for this weekend's game vs. the Patriots, but he's not off to a promising start. We'll see if Davis is able to get on the field tomorrow.

Eagles WR A.J. Brown (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He tweaked that ankle in Monday night's loss to Washington but was able he return. We'll keep an eye on Brown over the next few days, but he should be ready for this weekend's game vs. the Colts. WR DeVonta Smith (knee) was also limited on Wednesday.

Texans WR Brandin Cooks (hip, wrist) did not practice on Wednesday. He's been sitting out most Wednesdays this year, but the hip injury is new. We'll get another update on Cooks tomorrow.

Commanders RB J.D. McKissic (neck) remained sidelined on Wednesday. We haven't heard a timeline for his return. Look for Brian Robinson and Antonio Gibson to again handle backfield work in this weekend's plus matchup vs. the Texans.

Browns TE David Njoku (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. At this point, fantasy owners can't be counting on him to play vs. the Bills this weekend. We'll see if Njoku is able to get on the practice field tomorrow.

Ravens RB Gus Edwards (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday's practice. That should put him on track to play vs. the Panthers this weekend, but we'll track his progress over the next few days.

Bears TE Cole Kmet (thigh) did not practice on Wednesday. We don't have any other details on the issue but haven't heard any concern about Kmet's availability for this weekend's game vs. the Falcons. Check back tomorrow for another update on his status.

Packers WR Romeo Doubs (ankle) is out for Thursday night's game vs. the Titans. He's avoided IR, so we'll see if the rookie can make it back from his high-ankle sprain for Week 12. Allen Lazard and Christian Watson will again operate as Green Bay's top 2 WRs tomorrow.

The Packers have ruled LB De'Vondre Campbell out for the 2nd straight game with a knee injury. That should leave rookie LB Isaiah McDuffie as the #2 to rookie LB Quay Walker once again.

The Commanders are expected to activate EDGE Chase Young from the PUP list ahead of Sunday's games against the Texans, according to multiple reports. We'd still bet on Washington bringing him along slowly in game action. Young has been out since mid-November last season with an ACL tear plus other damage. The team has been cautious with him to this point. We'll see what his playing time looks like before considering Young for IDP lineup use.

Steelers HC Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that he's "optimistic" S Minkah Fitzpatrick will be ready for Sunday's game against the Bengals, according to Chris Halicke of DKPittsburghSports.com. Fitzpatrick missed last week's game for appendicitis. We'll watch to confirm his readiness for Week 11.

Colts LB Shaquille Leonard had back surgery Tuesday and will miss the rest of the season. The operation was reportedly successful, so he should have time to get ready for 2023. In the meantime, Zaire Franklin and Bobby Okereke should be locked in as Indy's full-time LBs the rest of this season.
