Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (ankle) is "up in the air" for Sunday's game vs. the Jets, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Rapoport suggests that Hurts will be a game-time decision and says "there's a chance" QB Gardner Minshew gets the start. The good news for fantasy owners is that we'll find out whether Hurts is active around 11:30 am ET tomorrow. He'll obviously carry more risk than usual in fantasy lineups if he ends up playing.

Seahawks RBs Alex Collins (abdomen), Rashaad Penny (hamstring) and Travis Homer (calf) are listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers. Collins was limited in practice all week, while Homer and Penny got in multiple full practices. All 3 should be available this weekend. We'll see if Seattle activates RB Adrian Peterson from the practice squad for Sunday. This is a backfield to avoid in Week 13 fantasy lineups.

The 49ers deemed LB Fred Warner (hamstring) doubtful for Sunday's game at Seattle. The only surprise there is that he has any chance of playing. Initial reports projected him to miss a week or 2 with the injury. Expect the Niners to be without their star LB, though. LB Dre Greenlaw (groin) has been ruled out. LB/S Marcell Harris (concussion) is questionable. The depleted LB corps helps the outlook for Seahawks TE Gerald Everett.

Dolphins S Brandon Jones (ankle, elbow) and EDGE Jaelan Phillips (hip) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants. Both players put in limited practices all week. Jones missed last week's game with the same injuries after a week of limited practices. Phillips' issue is new. We'll check the status of both potential IDP options Sunday morning.

The Jaguars have ruled CB Shaq Griffin out for the 2nd straight game because of his concussion. Nevin Lawson has filled in for him.

49ers RB JaMycal Hasty (ankle) isn’t listed on the final injury report and is set to return for Sunday’s game vs. the Seahawks. Hasty isn’t a fantasy option but might steal passing-down work from RB Elijah Mitchell.

Rams RB Darrell Henderson (thigh) is questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Jaguars. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. HC Sean McVay expressed optimism about Henderson's status early in the week but called him a game-time decision on Friday. Rams-Jags doesn't kick off until 4:05 pm ET on Sunday, but we'll look for an update on Henderson that morning. If he ends up sitting, Sony Michel will be a RB1.

Rams WR Odell Beckham (hip) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Jaguars. He got in limited practices on Wednesday and Friday. Both Beckham and HC Sean McVay said Friday that the receiver is on track to play. The hip injury adds some risk, but OBJ has plenty of upside in this plus matchup.

Jaguars RB James Robinson (heel, knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Rams. Robinson has been playing through these injuries, but it’s worth noting that he wasn’t listed on last week’s final injury report. We’re expecting Robinson to play, but you’ll need to check back to make sure he’s active on Sunday.

49ers WR Deebo Samuel (groin) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Seahawks. He's expected to miss 1-2 weeks, so we'll see if he can make it back for next weekend's game in Cincinnati. WR Brandon Aiyuk and TE George Kittle should dominate Niners targets with Samuel out.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (ankle) is questionable for this weekend’s game vs. Washington. He was added to the injury report on Thursday and limited in the final 2 practices of the week. We don’t have any other details on Jacobs’ status right now. Stay tuned for updates. If Jacobs is unable to play on Sunday, Vegas would likely turn back to Peyton Barber as the lead ball carrier.

The Raiders list TE Darren Waller (knee) as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. Washington. He didn’t practice all week and won’t play. Waller’s absence makes TE Foster Moreau a viable Week 13 spot starter. He posted a 6-60-1 line on 6 targets when Waller missed Week 7.

Raiders WR DeSean Jackson (calf) is questionable for this weekend’s game vs. Washington. He got in limited practices on Wednesday and Friday. Jackson’s role expanded on Thanksgiving, but he’s still only in play in DFS tournaments.

Buccaneers LB Devin White (quad) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons. He finished the week with 2 full practices and seems a good bet to play, but we'll confirm his status Sunday morning. Bucs S Jordan Whitehead (calf) hasbeen ruled out for the game. With Mike Edwards suspended over vaccination fraud, Andrew Adams looks likely to join Antoine Winfield in the lineup.

Vikings LB Eric Kendricks (biceps) and LB Anthony Barr (knee, hamstring) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions. Barr looks more shaky for the game after putting in just 1 limited practice Friday. His absence doesn't matter much for IDP purposes, other than that it would likely mean full playing time for LB Nick Vigil. He has been a much stronger fantasy contributor than Barr this season. Kendricks sandwiched limited practices around a missed Thursday workout. We'll update the statuses for all 3 LBs Sunday morning.

Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game vs. the Broncos. He was added to the injury report and did not practice on Friday. HC Andy Reid said that CEH has a stomach flu but "should be fine" for Sunday night. Edwards-Helaire can stay penciled into Week 13 fantasy lineups for now. We'll let you know if something changes with his status.

Ravens CB Anthony Averett (shoulder, ankle), LB Patrick Queen (ribs), CB Marlon Humphrey (illness) and EDGE Odafe Oweh (shoulder) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers. Humphrey missed the past 2 days of practice with his illness. Oweh popped up on the injury report with a missed Thursday but returned to limited action Friday. Queen finished the week with 2 full practices and appears on track to play. Averett was limited Thursday and Friday after missing Wednesday's practice. We'll update the status for all when inactives come out Sunday.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Bears. He got in 3 limited practices this week. HC Kliff Kingsbury labeled Murray a game-time decision on Friday, but multiple reports throughout the week had Murray expected back for this one. We'll find out for sure around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Bears. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday but did not practice on Friday. It's unclear if that was a planned day off or a setback. HC Kliff Kingsbury called Hopkins a game-time decision on Friday morning. We'll look for further updates on Hopkins and will get Arizona's inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Jets LB Quincy Williams (calf) and DE John Franklin-Myers (hip) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles. Both players followed limited Wednesday and Thursday participation with a full Friday workout and should be ready to go. We'll confirm their statuses Sunday morning.
