Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson caught 11 balls for a career-high 223 yards in Sunday's loss to the Lions. He accounted for 52.5% of QB Kirk Cousins' 425 passing yards for the game. It was his 8th game this year with more than 100 yards and 3rd straight with at least 11 targets.

Vikings QB Kirk Cousins racked up 425 yards and 2 TDs in Sunday's loss to the Lions. He completed 31 of 41 throws, with more than half of his yardage going to WR Justin Jefferson. Cousins found WR Adam Thielen and WR K.J. Osborn for his TDs. Week 15 holds a Colts defense that has played the run tougher than the pass this season, which could support more Cousins production.

Vikings RB Dalvin Cook gained only 23 yards on 15 carries in Sunday's loss to the Lions, adding just 1 catch for 13 yards among 2 targets. He did score from 1 yard out in the 1st quarter to save his fantasy day. Week 15 holds an even tougher matchup with the Colts. More favorable spots against the Giants and Packers lie beyond that.

Bengals WR Tyler Boyd dislocated a finger on his right hand early in Sunday's win over the Browns, HC Zac Taylor said. We should learn more on Monday about Boyd's status going forward.

Bills TE Dawson Knox led the team in targets (7), receptions (4) and receiving yards (41) on a poor passing day in Sunday's win over the Jets. WR Stefon Diggs managed just 3 catches for 37 yards among 5 targets. WR Gabriel Davis added only 3 receptions for 31 yards on 4 looks. Buffalo should be in for more passing success against a weaker Dolphins defense in Week 15.

Bills RBs totaled just 13 rushing attempts in Sunday's win over the Jets. Devin Singletary led with 8 carries for 39 yards. Rookie James Cook added 4 carries for just 6 yards. Nyheim Hines claimed the other, gaining 3 yards. The trio also combined for just 4 targets. Singletary led there as well, catching 1 of his 2 looks for 4 yards. Cook caught his long target for 9 yards. Hines caught his only opportunity for 4 yards. It'll be tough to like any of these RBs in the Week 15 matchup with the Dolphins.

Bengals HC Zac Taylor said after Sunday's win over the Browns that WR Tee Higgins injured his hamstring in pregame warmups. He wasn't supposed to play at all but snuck his way onto the field for the 1st play of the game. We'll keep an eye on Higgins' status throughout this coming week, leading up to next Sunday's game against the Bucs.

Bills QB Josh Allen threw for a season-low 147 yards in Sunday's win over the Jets. He went just 16 of 27 passing, with 1 TD, taking 3 sacks along the way. Allen saved his fantasy line with 1 TD and 47 yards on 10 rushing attempts. That helped him crack 20 fantasy points for just the 2nd time among his past 5 outings, by ESPN scoring. Favorable matchups with the Dolphins and Bears await the next 2 weeks.

Jets QB Mike White twice left Sunday's loss to the Bills for injury checks. He returned both times, though, to finish with 268 yards. White threw no TDs but also avoided turning the ball over. It was a predictably tough outing for the young QB, who faced weaker defenses in his 1st 2 outings. Assuming he's healthy enough, White should be in line for another start against the Lions in Week 15.

WR Elijah Moore led the Jets in targets by himself Sunday for the 1st time all season. He caught 6 of his 10 looks for 60 yards. WR Garrett Wilson ranked 3rd in targets (7) but matched Moore for the catch lead and paced the team with 78 receiving yards. TE Tyler Conklin caught 5 of 8 targets for 28 yards. WR Denzel Mims added 3-35 receiving on 5 looks. The early departure of WR Corey Davis (concussion) helped Moore's opportunities. Davis is likely to miss at least 1 more game, based on the usual return time for concussions.

Jets RB Michael Carter returned from his ankle sprain Sunday against the Bills and split the backfield pretty evenly with rookie RB Zonovan Knight. Carter led the receiving work, catching 3 of 6 targets for 15 yards. Knight drew 2 targets, catching both for 6 yards. Knight took the clear rushing lead, though, compiling 71 yards and a TD on 17 attempts. Carter rushed only 5 times for 5 yards. A similar split could put both in play for fantasy-lineup use in a Week 15 home date with the Lions. Solid matchups with Jacksonville and at Seattle sit beyond that.

Texans RB Dameon Pierce suffered an ankle injury in the 2nd half of Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys. He's officially questionable to return. Stay tuned for an update.

Ravens QB Tyler Huntley left in the 3rd quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Steelers for a concussion check. He's been replaced by QB Anthony Brown. Stay tuned for an update on Huntley.

Update: Huntley has been ruled out with a concussion.

Giants TE Daniel Bellinger is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Eagles with a rib injury. He took a big hit in the 1st half and was clearly struggling. We'll update on his status when we know more.

Update: Bellinger has been ruled out.

Seahawks TE Will Dissly (calf) is active for today’s game vs. the Panthers. He should continue splitting routes with TE Noah Fant.

Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf (hip) is active for today’s game vs. the Panthers. He was added to the injury report and limited on Thursday and then did not practice on Friday, but HC Pete Carroll said Friday that Metcalf was just getting some rest. It seems like Metcalf will be ready for his usual role in this one.

Seahawks RBs Ken Walker (ankle) and DeeJay Dallas (ankle) are inactive for today’s game vs. the Panthers. That leaves Seattle with RBs Travis Homer, Tony Jones and Godwin Igwebuike. ESPN’s Adam Schefter said this morning that Jones is expected to get the start.

Bucs RB Leonard Fournette (foot) is active for today’s game vs. the 49ers. He was added to the injury report and limited on Thursday and then did not practice on Friday. HC Todd Bowles never expressed much concern about Fournette’s availability for this one, but there’s still elevated risk here.

Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Broncos. He was limited in practice all week and seems to be tracking toward a Week 15 return.

Jets DT Quinnen Williams left in the 1st half of today's game against the Bills with a left-calf injury. He's questionable to return.
