49ers GM John Lynch said Tuesday morning that RB Elijah Mitchell will be a game-time decision for Thursday night's tilt with the Titans. Mitchell is out of concussion protocol, and his knee has "taken a positive turn," Lynch said. We'll see what Mitchell does in practice today and tomorrow and how he's listed on the final injury report. A healthy Mitchell has been a workhorse for the 'Niners this season.
Vikings LB Eric Kendricks got ejected in the 4th quarter of Monday night's game against the Bears after delivering a shot to the head of Chicago QB Justin Fields. The rookie was clearly in his slide at the end of a scramble, and Kendricks made the helmet-to-helmet hit. We wouldn't bet on a suspension following, but we'll see about any further league action.
Raiders S Johnathan Abram left Monday night's game at Cleveland in the 2nd half with a shoulder injury. He's officially questionable to return.
The Chargers placed 7 players on the COVID list on Monday, but RB Austin Ekeler was not 1 of them. There were multiple reports this morning that Ekeler was headed to the list. He wasn't at practice on Monday, per The Athletic's Daniel Popper, but the situation is unclear at this point. Stay tuned.
Lions HC Dan Campbell said Monday that RB D'Andre Swift will return to practice this week, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. He has missed the past 3 games with a shoulder injury initially suffered on Thanksgiving. We'll see whether Swift can make it all the way back to game action. His potential return, of course, would stop Craig Reynolds from being a fantasy option.
Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (ankle) isn't listed on the final Week 15 injury report. He put in 3 full practices to close the week and should at least be close to 100% for Tuesday night's game vs. Washington.
Giants QB Daniel Jones will be shut down for the rest of the season with his neck injury, HC Joe Judge said Monday. Judge called the move "precautionary" and said this neck injury isn't expected to be a long-term issue for Jones. Some combination of QBs Mike Glennon and Jake Fromm will close out the season for the G-Men.
Lions RB Jamaal Williams has been activated from the COVID list, putting him on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Falcons. RB Craig Reynolds impressed in Williams' absence the past 2 weeks, so it's unclear what this backfield will look like the rest of the way. We'll look for clues leading up to Sunday's game.

Bengals HC Zac Taylor confirmed on Monday that RB Joe Mixon has a sprained ankle but called his situation "encouraging." Taylor added that Mixon is expected to be limited to open the practice week. This -- plus the fact that he got back on the field for Cincinnati's kneel downs in the win over the Broncos -- has us thinking that Mixon will be able to play vs. the Ravens on Sunday. Titans WR A.J. Brown (chest) has been designated to return from IR. He's eligible to practice this week and be activated for Thursday night's game vs. the 49ers. He's still not guaranteed to be ready for that one, but we're tentatively expecting him to be out there. Brown would be a risky-but-high-upside fantasy play in his first action since Week 11.
Patriots WR Kendrick Bourne has been placed on the COVID list, putting him in jeopardy of missing Sunday's game vs. the Bills. WR Nelson Agholor is also iffy for that one after sustaining a concussion in Saturday night's loss to the Colts. N'Keal Harry would be left as New England's #2 WR if Bourne and Agholor miss Sunday's game.
Chiefs K Harrison Butker has landed on the COVID list. There's a chance that he's cleared in time for Sunday's game vs. the Steelers, but fantasy owners should be lining up another option. Elliott Fry would kick for Kansas City if Butker misses Sunday's game.
Bears LB Roquan Smith (hamstring) is active for tonight's game against the Vikings. That's not surprising, given that he played last week and finished the practice week with a full workout. DL Akiem Hicks (ankle) is also active. Both players entered the night questionable.
Vikings WR Adam Thielen is inactive for tonight's game against the Bears. He was reportedly hoping to play, but the veteran didn't practice at all this week. We'll see about his chances for the Week 16 game against the Rams.
Lions QB Jared Goff landed on the COVID list Monday after testing positive. We'll see whether he has a chance to make it back for Sunday's game in Atlanta. If he doesn't, we'll likely get another Tim Boyle start.
The Lions on Monday placed LB Alex Anzalone on IR with the right-shoulder injury he suffered Sunday. That knocks him out for the final 3 games of the season. Anzalone has had issues with that shoulder in the past. We'll see about his status heading into 2022. Anzalone is set to hit free agency in March. As for this year's Lions, Josh Woods would be a primary fill-in but also suffered a shoulder injury against the Cardinals. We'll see about his status this week. Jalen Reeves-Maybin looks like the best bet for playing time among Detroit LBs.
The Chiefs have placed TE Travis Kelce on the COVID list. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that because he is vaccinated, Kelce has "a chance" to return for Sunday's game against the Steelers. The entire fantasy football community will be watching closely.
Browns TE Harrison Bryant (ankle) is active for tonight's game vs. the Raiders. He's not as good a fantasy bet as TE David Njoku, but Bryant could play an expanded role with WR Jarvis Landry and TE Austin Hooper out on the COVID list.
