Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Panthers WR D.J. Moore (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Bucs. He only got in a limited practice on Friday, and HC Matt Rhule said earlier in the week that Moore would be a game-time decision. We’ll find out if he’s playing around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Browns WR Jarvis Landry has been activated from the COVID list. He should be back for Saturday's game vs. the Packers. Landry saw 10 targets in both of his last 2 games, so he's worth considering as at least a WR3 in fantasy lineups.

Browns QBs Baker Mayfield and Case Keenum have been activated from the COVID list. Mayfield should start Saturday's game vs. the Packers -- but will do so without having practiced all week. He's just a low-end QB2 in what figures to be a run-heavy attack from the Browns.

Washington placed S Landon Collins on IR Friday for his foot injury. With just 3 games left in the regular season, that means Collins is droppable in all redraft formats.

Raiders LB Denzel Perryman is questionable for Sunday's game after returning for a pair of limited practices Thursday and Friday. Perryman missed the past 2 games with the injury. His return would push Divine Deablo back to a reserve role.

Broncos DE Dre'Mont Jones (foot), S Kareem Jackson (back) and DE Shelby Harris (ankle) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders. Harris and Jackson played through their issues last week. Jones sat out of the loss to Cincinnati. He managed a pair of limited practices to close out this week, though. We'll check the status for all 3 on Sunday afternoon.

Chargers S Derwin James is questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans. The hamstring injury that kept him out of Week 14 and ended his Week 15 appearance early allowed James only a limited Friday practice this week. He'll clearly carry some risk even if active for this game. We'll check James' status Sunday morning.

Buccaneers EDGE Jason Pierre-Paul is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Panthers with a shoulder injury.

Rams DL Greg Gaines is questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings with an ankle injury. He put in limited practices Wednesday and Friday, with a missed practice in between. We'll see about Gaines' status Sunday morning.

Jets LB C.J. Mosley (back) and DT Quinnen Williams (shoulder) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Both players finished the week with a full Friday practice, though, and seem on track to play. We'll confirm their status Sunday morning.

The Packers have activated DT Kenny Clark from the COVID list, making him eligible to play Saturday against the Browns.

Browns DE Myles Garrett is questionable for Saturday's game against the Packers after missing practice all week. "I feel like I'll play regardless of how I feel," Garrett said Thursday, according to Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot. "I haven't practiced, so we'll see. But I'm going to go out there and give my all." We'll see about Garrett's official status Saturday around 3 p.m. ET.

The Saints on Friday placed LB Demario Davis on the COVID list after a positive test. That'll knock him out for Monday night's game against the Dolphins.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Bengals. He didn’t practice all week, though, and is not expected to play this weekend. QB Tyler Huntley missed Friday’s practice with a non-COVID illness but is expected to start against Cincinnati.

Bengals RB Joe Mixon (ankle) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report. It looks like he’s ready for his usual role on Sunday. The matchup vs. Baltimore’s 5th-ranked RB defense is a bigger concern than the ankle.

Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth (concussion) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Chiefs. No surprise after he suffered his 2nd concussion of the season last week. Zach Gentry will step in as Pittsburgh’s lead TE but isn’t a viable fantasy play.

Bears HC Matt Nagy said Friday that QB Nick Foles will start Sunday's game vs. the Seahawks. QB Andy Dalton (left hand, groin) is out for Week 16, while QB Justin Fields (ankle) was unable to practice on Thursday or Friday. Nagy said that Fields might be active on Sunday, but it'd be as Foles' backup. Foles made 7 starts for the Bears last season, averaging 238 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT on a 66% completion rate and 5.9 yards per attempt.

Bears QB Justin Fields (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Seahawks. He was limited on Wednesday but didn’t practice on Thursday or Friday. It’s safe to assume that Fields won’t be at 100% if he starts Sunday’s game, which makes him tough to like in fantasy lineups. QB Andy Dalton (left hand, groin) is out for Week 16, so QB Nick Foles will get the start if Fields is out.

Bucs WR Antonio Brown (ankle) was limited in practice all week but isn't listed on the final injury report for Sunday's game vs. the Panthers. This will be his first action since Week 6, so Brown carries some risk. But the upside is huge as QB Tom Brady's #1 WR with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin out.

Giants WR Kadarius Toney was activated from the COVID list on Thursday but is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Eagles with his oblique injury. We haven’t seen the rookie since Week 11 due to multiple injuries. Toney would be tough to trust in Week 16 fantasy lineups if he ends up playing.
