Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Raiders TE Darren Waller (knee, back) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Chiefs. He remained sidelined all week, so his status for Week 15 and beyond remains uncertain. Foster Moreau gets another game as Vegas’ lead TE after disappointing with just 1 catch last week.

Dolphins RB Myles Gaskin tested positive for COVID, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. Gaskin is vaccinated, so there's a chance he's cleared in time for Miami's Week 15 game vs. the Jets. If not, the Dolphins would be down to RBs Phillip Lindsay and Salvon Ahmed on the active roster. RBs Duke Johnson and Gerrid Doaks are on the practice squad, while RB Malcolm Brown (quad) is eligible to come off IR

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the 49ers. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday, and HC Zac Taylor confirmed that Higgins is expected to play on Sunday. He can be penciled into fantasy lineups.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow (finger) isn’t listed on the final injury report. He put in a limited practice on Thursday and was a full-go on Friday. He threw the ball well in practice according to the Cincinnati media in attendance. We’re not expecting Burrow’s injured pinky to be a problem in Sunday’s game vs. the 49ers.

The Bengals list RB Joe Mixon as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the 49ers. He missed practice all week with an illness. Mixon was at least watching on the sidelines on Friday, and HC Zac Taylor said afterward that he expects Mixon to play. We’ll continue looking for updates on his status. 49ers-Bengals doesn’t kick off until 4:25 pm ET on Sunday. Samaje Perine would be Cincinnati's lead back if Mixon is out this week.

Cowboys RB Tony Pollard (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. Washington. He didn’t practice all week and said Thursday that he’ll be a game-time decision with his torn plantar fascia. Pollard will obviously come with elevated risk if he ends up playing. If not, Dallas would likely be forced to give RB Ezekiel Elliott more touches. Zeke, by the way, put in a full week of practice.

Washington RB J.D. McKissic (concussion) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Cowboys. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday and still has work to do to be cleared in time for Sunday. We’ll keep you updated on McKissic’s status. His absence would be a boost for RB Antonio Gibson.

Jaguars RB James Robinson (heel, knee) is not listed on the final injury report. He didn’t practice on Thursday but put in a full practice on Friday after being limited all last week. It’s unclear if that means Robinson is ready for a bigger role this weekend vs. the Titans. He’s averaged 12.3 carries and 4 targets over the last 4 games.

Bears WR Allen Robinson (hamstring) isn’t listed on the final Week 14 injury report. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, and will return for Sunday night’s game against the Packers. Robinson was having a disappointing season before this hamstring injury and can’t be trusted in fantasy lineups in his first game back.

Bears RB David Montgomery (shoulder, groin, glute) is not listed on the final injury report after putting in a full practice on Friday. He should be ready for a workhorse role on Sunday night against the Packers.

The Chargers are "optimistic" that WR Mike Williams will be activated from the COVID list in time for Sunday's game vs. the Giants, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. A close contact of COVID-positive Keenan Allen, Williams has reportedly continued to test negative. If that continues, he'll be out there on Sunday. We'll keep you updated.

Browns TEs Harrison Bryant (ankle) and David Njoku (COVID) are out for Sunday's game vs. the Ravens. That leaves Austin Hooper to hog all of the TE work. He's a viable spot starter vs. Baltimore's 25th-ranked TE defense.

Texans HC David Culley named QB Davis Mills his starter for the rest of the season. "He gives us the best chance to win," Culley said, suggesting that QB Tyrod Taylor's wrist injury didn't factor into this decision. Taylor has struggled lately -- but Mills managed just 6.6 yards per attempt with 6 TDs vs. 7 INTs in 6 starts earlier this season. WR Brandin Cooks at least averaged 8.2 targets, 6.2 catches and 62.5 yards in those Mills starts. Cooks remains the only Texan worth using in fantasy lineups.

Jets RB Tevin Coleman (concussion) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Saints. He's led New York's Michael Carter-less backfield with 27 carries over the past 2 weeks. With Carter still out, we're expecting La'Mical Perine to join Ty Johnson and Austin Walter in a 3-man committee this weekend. It's a situation to avoid against the league's #1 RB defense.

Texans RB David Johnson (illness, thigh) has put in 2 full practices to open the week. He's on track to return for Sunday's game vs. the Seahawks. Johnson figures to re-form a committee with RB Rex Burkhead, leaving both guys as just desperation fantasy plays.

9:35pm EST 12/9/21

Steelers EDGE T.J. Watt left in the 2nd quarter of Thursday night's game against the Vikings with a groin injury. He's questionable to return.

Update: Pittsburgh has ruled him out for the game.

Rams RB Darrell Henderson (thigh) was listed as a limited participant in Thursday's practice. He was limited last Friday before being active but not playing a snap in the Jaguars game. Henderson's availability and role in Monday night's game vs. the Cardinals remains uncertain. We'll look for clues over the next few days

Bears RB David Montgomery (shoulder, groin, glute) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He should be fine for Sunday night's game vs. the Packers, but we'll get another update on Montgomery tomorrow.

Bengals RB Joe Mixon (illness) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. Players rarely miss games with non-COVID illnesses, so we're expecting Mixon to play vs. the 49ers on Sunday. But check back tomorrow for another update on his status.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He should be available for this weekend's game vs. the 49ers, but check back tomorrow for another update.
