Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson caught seven of nine targets for 114 yards including setting up the game winning FG with a 29-yard reception. Hockenson had looked sluggish returning from his ACL injury but finally looked fully healthy.

Bears WR Keenan Allen caught nine of 15 targets for 86 yards and a late TD in a failed comeback. WR DJ Moore caught all seven of his targets for 106 yards and a TD, including the catch to set-up the game tying FG in regulation. Rome Odunze caught five of 10 targets for 39 yards.

Vikings WR Jordan Addison caught eight of nine targets for 162 yards and a TD while Justin Jefferson only caught two of five targets for 27 yards. Addison was the favored target for QB Sam Darnold who threw for 330 yards and two TDs.

The Vikings averaged nearly five yards per carry against the Bears led by RB Aaron Jones 106 yards on 22 carries including a TD. Jones also caught three of four targets for 23 yards.

Bears QB Caleb Williams completed 32 of 47 passes for 340 yards and two TDs. He also ran six times for 33 yards. He was sacked three times, but almost manufactured a comeback against the Vikings with a late fourth quarter TD and FG drive to tie the game.

Commanders RB Austin Ekeler sustained an apparent concussion on a kick return with less than 15 seconds to go in Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys. He appeared to be unconscious on the field but eventually made his way off with assistance. This would be Ekeler's third documented concussion.

Update: HC Dan Quinn confirmed that Ekeler is in concussion protocol.

Buccaneers WR Mike Evans returned from his hamstring injury but only caught five of six targets for 68 yards. The Bucs did most of their damage on the ground in this game, so expect better numbers moving forward.

Buccaneers RBs Bucky Irving, Rachaad White and Sean Tucker along with QB Baker Mayfield all scored a rushing TD against the Giants. Irving ended with 12 carries for 87 yards and caught all six of his targets for 64 yards. White ran the ball 12 times for 37 yards as well as catching his lone target for 10 yards. Tucker scored the first TD of the day with four carries for three yards.

Giants QB Tommy DeVito completed 21 of 31 passes for 189 yards and no TDs. He also ran seven times for 32 yards. The Buccaneers defense was able to get pressure and DeVito was not accurate enough to overcome. WR Malik Nabers led the team with nine targets, but only caught six for 64 yards.

Colts WR Josh Downs suffered a right shoulder injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Lions. He's officially questionable to return. We'll update Downs' status when we know more.

Update: Downs returned on the Colts' next possession.

Lions RB David Montgomery is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Colts with a shoulder injury. Prior to the injury, Montgomery tallied 37 yards and 1 TD on 8 carries.

Seahawks TE Noah Fant (groin) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Cardinals. That should mean another full-time role for TE A.J. Barner, who’s a viable replacement if you were hoping to use Fant today.

Raiders RBs Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quad) are inactive for today’s game vs. the Broncos. That leaves the backfield to Ameer Abdullah, Dylan Laube, and Sincere McCormick. HC Antonio Pierce said Friday that Abdullah will start, but it’s entirely unclear how touches will be divvied beyond that. Abdullah sits highest among Raiders RBs in the Week 12 Rankings, but you should try to avoid the situation in fantasy lineups.

Panthers TE Ja'Tavion Sanders was carted off in the second quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Chiefs with a head and/or neck injury. He landed on his head after making a catch near the sidelines. Sanders was moving on his way off the field. We'll update his status when we know more.

Colts WR Michael Pittman is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Lions with a shoulder injury. It's a new injury for Pittman, who's been playing through a bad back and also suffered a finger injury earlier this season. We'll update his status when we know more. His absence should mean more snaps for WR A.D. Mitchell.

Update: Pittman returned to the game.

Commanders RB Brian Robinson injured his right leg on his first carry of Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys. He got rolled up on badly but was able to hobble off the field under his own power. We'll update his status when we learn more.

Update: Robinson is officially questionable to return with an ankle injury.

Update: Robinson returned on Washington's next possession.

Update: Robinson was deemed questionable to return at halftime.

Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard is expected to get the "bulk of the carries" vs. the Chiefs today, according to ESPN's David Newton. "There are packages -- particularly third-down" for RB Jonathon Brooks, Newton adds. This is how we've been projecting it all week. Despite the tough matchup, Hubbard can stay in fantasy lineups as a volume-based RB2. Brooks is not a recommended fantasy play.

Panthers K Eddy Pineiro (knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Chiefs. He checks in dead last in the Week 12 K Rankings.

Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Chiefs. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said this morning that Brooks won’t be on a snap count in his long-awaited NFL debut, but we’re still expecting him to play minimally behind RB Chuba Hubbard.

Panthers WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) is active for today’s game vs. the Chiefs. Thielen could immediately re-emerge as QB Bryce Young’s top target, but we’d try to avoid him in fantasy lineups in his first action since Week 3. WR Jalen Coker (quad) is inactive.
