Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Jaguars RB Travis Etienne suffered a left foot injury in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Ravens. He headed back to the locker room with trainers and is officially questionable to return. We'll update Etienne's status when we know more. This is the same foot that Etienne injured last year.

Bears S Eddie Jackson left in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game against the Jets after hurting his left leg. He went down on a long TD play to WR Garrett Wilson. Jackson then left the field gingerly and rode a cart to the locker room. We'll watch for further details.

Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports that Bears QB Trevor Siemian took a pain-killing injection for his oblique injury and might still start vs. the Jets today. Both Siemian and QB Nathan Peterman took some 1st-team reps in final warmups. You should obviously be staying far away from this situation in fantasy lineups.

Bears QB Trevor Siemian suffered an oblique injury in pregame warmups, so QB Nathan Peterman will now get the start vs. the Jets. Siemian wasn't a great option, but Peterman is even worse. He's somehow managed to toss 12 INTs on 135 career pass attempts. You should try to avoid Chicago's passing game in Week 12 fantasy lineups. The Jets defense is an elite play.

Colts DT DeForest Buckner is questionable for Monday night's game against the Steelers. He finished the practice week with a full Saturday workout, though, after sitting out the previous 2 days. Buckner is listed with a rib issue and illness. We'll confirm his status ahead of Monday's game but would bet on him playing. Colts DT Grover Stewart and Steelers DL Larry Ogunjobi can be fallback options for IDP lineups. Colts edge players Kwity Paye (ankle) and Yannick Ngakoue (back) are also questionable and don't look worth waiting for. Paye missed all 3 days of practice this week. Ngakoue left Friday's practice early and then missed Saturday.

Ravens DB Kyle Hamilton (knee) is inactive for today's game against the Jaguars.

Falcons rookie EDGE Arnold Ebiketie (arm) is active for today's game against the Commanders. He's a low-level IDP option but carries some sack upside in this matchup.

Panthers WR Terrace Marshall (shoulder) is active for today’s game vs. the Broncos. He’s not a recommended fantasy play against the league’s 4th-ranked WR defense.

Commanders EDGE Chase Young (ACL recovery) is inactive for today's game against the Falcons. We'll see if Young is ready for Week 13. A bye the following week might factor into whether he plays.

Jets RB James Robinson is a healthy scratch for today's game vs. the Bears. RBs Michael Carter, Ty Johnson and Zonovan Knight are dressed for New York. Robinson's absence is a slight boost to Carter's Week 12 fantasy stock.

11:35am UTC 11/27/22

Commanders TE Logan Thomas (rib, illness) is active for today’s game against the Falcons. He’s a low-end fantasy option in what figures to be a run-heavy attack from Washington.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Texans. That leaves Jeff Wilson as Miami’s clear lead back in a dream matchup. He’s a RB1 play today. RBs Salvon Ahmed and Myles Gaskin are active behind Wilson.

Titans DT Jeffery Simmons (ankle) and CB Kristian Fulton (hamstring) are active for today's game against the Bengals. The Tennessee defense will also get S Amani Hooker back for the 1st time in 4 games. And EDGE Bud Dupree returns after missing 2 games. It's a potentially challenging matchup for the Bengals offense.

11:32am UTC 11/27/22

Ravens WR Devin Duvernay (hamstring) is active for today’s game vs. the Jaguars. He was added to the injury report and limited in practice on Friday, adding risk to his Week 12 fantasy profile. Duvernay has totaled just 9 catches over his last 5 outings, so he shouldn’t have been in your plans anyway.

Ravens WR Demarcus Robinson (hip) is active for today’s game vs. the Jaguars. He was added to the injury report and sidelined on Thursday but returned to a full practice on Friday. Robinson should be ready to again serve as Baltimore’s lead WR today.

11:31am UTC 11/27/22

Ravens RB Gus Edwards (hamstring, knee) is active for today’s game vs. the Jaguars. He’s the best bet to lead Baltimore RBs in carries today, but it’s tough to know exactly what the backfield split will look like between Edwards, Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill.

11:31am UTC 11/27/22

Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase (hip) is officially inactive for today’s game vs. the Titans. He got in 3 limited practices this week and seems to be trending toward a Week 13 return.

11:29am UTC 11/27/22

Bears QB Justin Fields (shoulder) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Jets. He got in 3 limited practices this week, so we’ll see if he can get cleared for Week 13. QB Trevor Siemian makes his 30th career start today. He owns a 59% completion rate and 6.6 yards-per-attempt average. Chicago figures to throw it at least a bit more with Siemian under center, but we wouldn’t consider this an upgrade for anyone on the offense.

Free-agent WR Odell Beckham has visits scheduled with the Giants, Cowboys and Bills, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It's likely that he ends up signing with 1 of those 3 teams. Beckham has reportedly received full medical clearance from February's torn ACL -- but he still has work to do to get back into football shape, per Rapoport. We remain skeptical that Beckham will be a reliable fantasy play during the regular season, so he's not a priority bench stash.

Browns QB Deshaun Watson has complied with the terms of his suspension and is on track to start Week 13's game against the Texans, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Next Sunday will mark exactly 700 days since Watson's last NFL game. He was allowed to return to the team facility on October 10 and has been allowed to practice for the past 2 weeks. Watson has been getting "a few reps" with the 1st-team offense but taking most of his snaps with the scout team, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Watson would be a risky Week 13 fantasy play considering how long he's been out. But he's worth rostering in fantasy leagues of 10+ teams and could be a recommended starter as early as Week 14. Watson has a neutral schedule from Weeks 14 through 17: at Bengals, vs. Ravens, vs. Saints, at Commanders.
