Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) is inactive for this morning’s game vs. the Giants in Germany. NFL Network’s Sara Walsh reports that Brooks could make his debut after the Week 11 bye. But, at this point, we’ll believe that when we see it. Brooks’ absence today locks in Chuba Hubbard as a strong RB2 play.

49ers WR Deebo Samuel (rib, oblique) is expected to play vs. the Buccaneers today, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Samuel was limited in practice all week and listed as questionable. But, barring a report on his snaps being limited today, Samuel belongs locked into Week 10 fantasy lineups.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) will play vs. the Buccaneers today. "The team believes McCaffrey could have played last week," Schefter adds. The news has been all positive on McCaffrey for a while now. We'll keep an eye out for any updates on his expected workload today. But, as of now, we're projecting him to play something close to his normal role.

Jaguars WRs Brian Thomas (chest) and Gabe Davis (shoulder) are expected to play vs. the Vikings today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Thomas played through his injury last week and never seemed to be in danger of missing this one. Davis sat out last week and would be a shaky fantasy play today, especially with QB Mac Jones at the controls. Davis' return should push WR Parker Washington back into the slot, giving him a favorable matchup against CB Byron Murphy.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (left shoulder) won't play against the Vikings today. "The question is whether Lawrence will make it back for next Sunday vs. the Lions or whether the team will give him one more week off with Jacksonville’s bye coming the week after," Schefter adds. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Lawrence is dealing with a "significant AC joint sprain" that could eventually require surgery, "though the current plan is for rest and rehab." QB Mac Jones will make his Jaguars debut today.

Commanders K Austin Seibert (hip) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game vs. the Steelers. He'll be replaced by K Zane Gonzalez, who isn't a recommended fantasy play in the third-worst kicker matchup of the week.

Falcons WR Drake London (hip) is expected to play against the Saints on Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. London is listed as questionable, but he got in three limited practices this week and never seemed to be dealing with a significant injury. There's a bit more risk with London this week, but he belongs in the vast majority of fantasy lineups.

Rams WR Demarcus Robinson (toe, hip) put in a full practice on Saturday and is not listed on the final injury report for Monday night's game vs. the Dolphins. He'll be ready for his usual duties as the Rams' No. 3 WR in that one.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (wrist) is listed as questionable for Monday night's game vs. the Rams. He was added to the injury report on Friday and missed the final two practices of the week.

The Texans have activated WR Nico Collins (hamstring) from IR. He’s on track to play tomorrow night vs. Detroit. Out since Week 5, the fourth-year pro can be plugged back into fantasy lineups as a WR1.

The Chargers have activated RB Gus Edwards (ankle) from IR. He last played back in Week 4. Given his early-season struggles – and a lack of passing-game involvement – Edwards isn’t someone we’d rush out to add.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is “planning” to undergo surgery on his hamstring, “pending the opinion of one final specialist.” We’ll let you know when the official word comes down, but this one appears pretty clear. Per Schefter, "the Cowboys believe it is better to address the injury now than to let it heal on its own and encounter complications later." Cooper Rush figures to start in the short term, but it wouldn’t be surprising if Dallas opts to start Trey Lance at some point. Rush sits deep in QB2 territory in our Week 10 QB rankings.

Texans WR Tank Dell (back) is expected to play vs. the Lions on Sunday night, according to insider Aaron Wilson. Dell was added to the injury report and limited in practice on Friday. He's officially listed as questionable. But, barring a different report on his status, Dell can stay in Week 10 fantasy lineups. We still don't have word on WR Nico Collins' status for Sunday night, but Wilson writes that the Texans "have prepared all week to go without him."

The Saints are expected to place WR Chris Olave on IR ahead of Sunday's game against the Falcons, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That would obviously mean at least four games down for Olave following his fifth career concussion. But he also might not play again this season.

Cardinals S Jalen Thompson is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets. Thompson sustained an ankle injury in Thursday's practice and then missed Friday's workout. We'll watch for updates on his status through the weekend. If Thompson can't go, rookie Dadrion Taylor-Demerson would fill in.

Bengals HC Zac Taylor said Friday that WR Tee Higgins (quad) was "close" to playing vs. the Ravens on Thursday night. "You have to be very careful with a quad injury. I think he’s progressing along well," Taylor added. It sounds like Higgins has a reasonable chance to make it back for Week 11's game against the Chargers. We'll keep tabs on his status when the Bengals get back to work next week.

The Bucs removed WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring, hip) from the final injury report. He only got in a limited practice on Friday but is evidently good to go for this weekend's game vs. the 49ers. Shepard has seen five targets in each of the last two games, posting 3-18-0 and 4-48-0 lines. He's an unexciting fantasy option.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill was added to the injury report and did not practice on Friday with a wrist injury. It's a new issue for Hill, who dealt with a foot injury last month. We'll look for further updates on his status for Monday night's game vs. the Rams and see how he's listed on Saturday's final injury report.

Rams WR Demarcus Robinson (toe, hip) returned to a limited practice on Friday after sitting out Thursday. He should be fine for Monday night’s game vs. the Dolphins, but we’ll see how he’s listed on the final injury report on Saturday afternoon.

The Texans have ruled Edge Will Anderson Jr. out for Sunday night's game against the Lions with an ankle injury. Anderson didn't practice at all this week. We'll see about his viability for Week 11, but you should plan as though he won't be available.
