Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Chargers WR Ladd McConkey (knee, shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Chiefs. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said early in the week that McConkey was “in doubt” for this one. But he got in three limited practices, which seemingly gives him a shot to play. We’ll look for an update on McConkey on Sunday morning but won’t get Los Angeles’ inactives until a little before 7 pm ET that night.
Rams WR Demarcus Robinson (hand) is not listed on the final Week 14 injury report. He should be available for his usual role on Sunday but isn’t a recommended fantasy play against the Bills’ ninth-ranked WR defense.
Jets WR Allen Lazard (chest) put in a full week of practice and is not listed on the final injury report. He’ll play vs. the Dolphins on Sunday for the first time since Week 7. Lazard should slide back in as New York’s No. 3 WR but would be a desperation fantasy play.
Saints RB Kendre Miller (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Giants. He put in a full week of practice and should be healthy enough to play. Miller could quickly emerge as New Orleans’ No. 2 RB, but he shouldn’t be in Week 14 fantasy lineups.
Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (hip) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Jets. He's averaged just 2.5 carries and 1.8 targets over the last four games, so his absence would be just a slight boost to RB De'Von Achane.
Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Buccaneers. He was sidelined on Thursday but returned to a limited practice on Friday. We’re tentatively expecting Meyers to play in this one. But we’ll look for further updates on his status and get Vegas’ inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.
Raiders RB Alexander Mattison (ankle) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Buccaneers. RB Zamir White (quad) has been ruled out. If Mattison returns for this one, Vegas’ backfield would be tough to project. If he remains out, Sincere McCormick will be in play as a RB3 or Flex.
Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) put in a full week of practice and is not listed on the final injury report. He should be ready for a full slate of snaps vs. the Panthers this weekend. As usual, there doesn’t figure to be much passing volume from Philadelphia in that one. But Smith could get a target boost with TE Dallas Goedert out.
Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (knee) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers. We’ll see if he lands on IR tomorrow. Goedert’s absence leaves Grant Calcaterra as Philadelphia’s lead TE. He registered 83%, 86%, and 91% route rates in the three games Goedert missed earlier this season, totaling nine targets on a 15.3% share. He's a low-end spot start option this week.
Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving (hip, back) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Raiders. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. We should get an update on Irving by Sunday morning and will have Tampa Bay’s inactives by 11:30 am. If he ends up missing this one, Rachaad White would be a borderline RB1 and Sean Tucker at least a RB3 or Flex option.
Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (hamstring, calf) is not listed on the final Week 14 injury report. He only got in a limited practice on Friday but is evidently in no danger of missing Sunday’s game vs. the Raiders. We’ll keep an eye out for any further updates on Evans’ status. But, as of now, consider him a WR1 in fantasy lineups.
Vikings K Will Reichard (quad) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Falcons. He was a full participant in practice all week, so we’re expecting Reichard back for this one. But we’ll see if he’s activated from IR on Saturday.
Steelers WR George Pickens was added to the injury report with a hamstring and limited in practice on Friday. He's listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Browns. We'll look for more info on Pickens' status and get Pittsburgh's inactives around 11:30 am ET. His absence would be a huge loss for the Steelers' passing game. Since QB Russell Wilson took over, Pickens has accounted for 24% of the team's targets, 24% of the receptions, 32% of the receiving yards, and 30% of the receiving TDs.
Vikings TE Josh Oliver (wrist, ankle) is off the final Week 14 injury report and will be back for Sunday’s game vs. the Falcons. That could mean a slight dip in pass routes for T.J. Hockenson, but he remains a fine TE1 play.
Bills WR Keon Coleman (wrist) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Rams. He got in three limited practices this week. We’re tentatively expecting Coleman to play in this one, but he’d be a shaky fantasy bet in his first action since Week 9.
Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (knee) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Rams. It looks like he’d be at less than 100% if he ends up playing. We’d try to avoid Kincaid in Week 14 fantasy lineups. If he ends up sitting, TE Dawson Knox would be a viable low-end TE1.
Giants WR Malik Nabers (groin) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Saints. He got hurt on Thursday and then didn’t practice on Friday. We’ll look for further updates on Nabers’ status and get the Giants’ inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday. Consider him a risky WR2 if he ends up playing.
Browns WR Cedric Tillman (concussion) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Steelers. Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Moore will continue to operate as Cleveland’s top two WRs and are nice volume bets. Michael Woods operated as the No. 3 WR last week but would be a desperation fantasy play.
Bears WR D.J. Moore (quad) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the 49ers. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. We’ll look for more info on Moore but won’t get Chicago’s inactives until a little before 3 pm ET on Sunday. WR Keenan Allen (ankle) is off the final injury report after getting in full practices on Thursday and Friday.
Bears RB D'Andre Swift (quad) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the 49ers. He only got in a limited practice on Friday, so he’s seemingly legitimately in question for this one. RB Roschon Johnson (concussion) has been ruled out, leaving Travis Homer as the top healthy RB on the roster. RBs Darrynton Evans and Demetric Felton are on the practice squad. Homer would be a RB3 or Flex-level play if Swift ends up missing this week.
