Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the 49ers with a leg injury. We'll update his status when we know more.

Update: Waddle returned for the start of the 2nd half.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III suffered an ankle injury in the 1st half against the Rams. He's questionable to return. We'll watch for updates on his status.

Update: Walker has been ruled out.

Bengals TE Hayden Hurst injured his right calf in the 1st half against the Chiefs. Cincinnati initially deemed him questionable to return but quickly downgraded him to out. We'll see about Hurst's outlook for Week 14 and beyond.

Falcons RB Cordarrelle Patterson averaged a strong 5.5 yards per rush across 11 carries in Sunday's loss to the Steelers. He split carries evenly with RB Tyler Allgeier once again, though. The rookie took 10 rushes for 52 yards (5.2 per attempt). No Falcons RB logged a target. That's particularly disappointing for Patterson, who garnered 5 targets last week. That makes 7 games with 2 targets or fewer (1 or fewer in 6 of those) vs. just 2 games with more. We'll see if HC Arthur Smith says anything about targeting Patterson more after the Week 14 bye.

Falcons WR Drake London delivered 6 catches for 95 yards on 12 targets in Sunday's loss to the Steelers. His 12 targets constituted half of QB Marcus Mariota's pass attempts. London also collected 46.2% of the team's receptions and 56.9% of the receiving yards. Those shares will be tough to replicate. There's certainly room for London to continue dominating the receiving categories the rest of the way, with TE Kyle Pitts done for the year. This was the 1st time since Week 3, however, that he exceeded 40 receiving yards. London entered the day averaging just 3.4 receptions per game. So there will be risk in trusting this performance to carry over after the Week 14 bye.

Steelers WR Diontae Johnson racked up 11 targets among 28 Kenny Pickett pass attempts in Sunday's win over the Falcons. That marked a 39.3% target share, in a game that saw no other Steeler top 5 looks. TE Pat Freiermuth finished 2nd, catching 3 of 5 targets for 76 yards. RB Jaylen Warren was the only other Pittsburgh player to catch more than 1 pass. WRs George Pickens and Steven Sims matched Warren at 2 targets. Pickens caught just 1 ball for 2 yards. Next for Pittsburgh comes the season's 1st matchup with the Ravens, who have been playing the run tougher than the pass.

Steelers RB Najee Harris handled 17 of the team's 24 RB carries in Sunday's win over the Falcons. He had another productive outing, averaging 5.1 yards per rush (86 yards in all). Harris drew just 1 target, though, catching it for 6 yards. RB Jaylen Warren beat him with 2 receptions for 14 yards on 2 targets, while RB Benny Snell added an 11-yard catch on his lone target. Snell also rushed 6 times for 24 yards. Warren logged only 1 carry for 5 yards. He entered the day questionable with a hamstring issue. Week 14 brings a home date with a tough Baltimore run defense.

Broncos WR Courtland Sutton was knocked out of Sunday's game vs. the Ravens with a hamstring injury. We should get an update on the severity on Monday.

Ravens HC John Harbaugh said after Sunday's win over the Broncos that QB Lamar Jackson's knee injury is not season ending. "It's gonna be a number of days or weeks," Harbaugh added. Jackson is scheduled for additional testing on Monday, so we should learn more about his situation then. QB Tyler Huntley will take over for Baltimore for however long Jackson is out.

49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo was carted to the locker room during the 1st quarter of Sunday's game vs. Miami. He appeared to injured his left leg on a sack. We'll update Garoppolo's status when we learn more. QB Brock Purdy has entered for San Francisco.

Update: Garoppolo has an ankle injury and is questionable to return, the team announced.

Chargers LB Drue Tranquill (illness) and S Nasir Adderley (thumb) are active for today's game against the Raiders.

Raiders LB Denzel Perryman (wrist) is active for today's game against the Chargers. Use him as planned in IDP lineups.

3:03pm EST 12/4/22

Bengals LB Logan Wilson (illness) is active for today's game against the Chiefs. Use him as planned in IDP lineups.

3:00pm EST 12/4/22

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (calf) is active for today’s game vs. the Chargers. He played through this injury last week – and ripped off 303 total yards – so it’s not a major concern.

2:57pm EST 12/4/22

Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase (hip) is active for today’s game vs. the Chiefs. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday. We haven’t heard anything about Chase’s role today. There’s certainly a chance that he’s on some type of snap count in his 1st action since Week 7, but Chase would still carry plenty of upside even then. You’d need to be loaded at WR to consider benching him in this matchup.

2:57pm EST 12/4/22

Bengals RB Joe Mixon (concussion) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Chiefs. With Mixon out last week, RB Samaje Perine played 80% of Cincinnati’s offensive snaps and handled 17 carries and 7 targets. He’s a legit RB1 in Week 13 fantasy lineups.

Seahawks S Ryan Neal (elbow, shoulder) is active for today's game against the Rams. Use him as planned in IDP lineups.

Rams LB Ernest Jones (back) is active for today's game against the Seahawks. Use him as planned in IDP lineups.

2:37pm EST 12/4/22

49ers WR Deebo Samuel (quad) is active for today’s game vs. the Dolphins. Dealing with what HC Kyle Shanahan called a deep thigh bruise, Samuel got in just limited practices on Wednesday and Friday. He reportedly made big improvements over the past 48 hours, though, and got the green light to play in this one. Samuel obviously carries more risk than usual in Week 13 fantasy lineups.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence injured his left leg taking a sack in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Lions. We'll pass along an update when we get one. QB C.J. Beathard is Jacksonville's backup.

Update: Lawrence returned for the start of the 2nd half.
