Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) remained sidelined in practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers. We’ll see if he can make it back for Week 17.

The Packers list WR Jayden Reed (toe, chest) as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Panthers. He didn't practice all week, though, and seems unlikely to play. Reed should be on fantasy benches for now. We'll get Green Bay's inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Packers RB A.J. Dillon (thumb) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers. HC Matt LaFleur sounded optimistic on Friday about Dillon’s chances of returning for this one. He’d be a desperation fantasy play but would ding RB Aaron Jones’ outlook.

Colts WR Michael Pittman (concussion, shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Falcons. He’s cleared concussion protocol but had a shoulder added to the injury report on Friday and was limited in practice. We’ll look for additonal updates on that situation and get Indianapolis’ inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Colts K Matt Gay (hip) is not listed on the final injury report for this weekend’s game vs. the Falcons. He was a full-go on Friday and is safe to use in Week 16 fantasy lineups.

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (thumb) put in a full week of practice and isn’t listed on the final injury report for Sunday’s game vs. the Falcons. Considering he’s coming back from a thumb injury, Taylor should be ready for a full workload – barring any kind of ball-security issues during the game. That’s especially true with RB Zack Moss (forearm) having missed practice all week. He’s listed as questionable.

Bears RB D’Onta Foreman (personal) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Cardinals. He returned to a limited practice on Friday after sitting out on Thursday. We’ll look for more info on Foreman’s situation but won’t get Chicago’s inactives until a little before 3 pm ET on Sunday. Foreman’s absence would make RBs Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson more attractive fantasy plays in a plus matchup.

Bears TE Cole Kmet (quad) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Cardinals. He was added to the injury report on Thursday and then limited again on Friday. We’ll look for more info on Kmet but won’t get Chicago’s inactives until a little before 3 pm ET on Sunday.

Vikings RB Alexander Mattison (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Lions. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. Mattison won’t be a viable fantasy play if he ends up active on Sunday, but his return would put a slight dent in RB Ty Chandler’s projection.

Colts WR Michael Pittman cleared concussion protocol and will play vs. the Falcons this weekend, HC Shane Steichen said Friday. Pittman will be ready for his usual high-volume role. He's averaged 11.5 targets, 8.0 catches, 86 yards, and 0.4 TDs over his last eight healthy games with QB Gardner Minshew.

Commanders RB Brian Robinson (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Jets. RB Jonathan Williams is back on the practice squad, so he has no official game status. But he's in concussion protocol and is unlikely to play this weekend. That'll leave the backfield to RBs Antonio Gibson and Chris Rodriguez. Rodriguez out-carried Gibson 10 to 4 last week, but Gibson out-targeted Rodriguez 5 to 0. Neither is a very attractive Week 16 fantasy play with Washington sporting a 17-point implied total in New York.

Cardinals WR Marquise Brown (heel) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Bears. He's been banged up for a while, so it wouldn't be surprising if Arizona just shuts him down the rest of the way. We'll see how WR Greg Dortch (shoulder) is listed on the final injury report later today. He didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday. The Cardinals could be down to WRs Michael Wilson, Rondale Moore, and Zach Pascal this weekend.

Jets QB Zach Wilson (concussion) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Commanders. QB Trevor Siemian will make his first start of the season in that one. He's completed just 49% of his passes at 4.5 yards per attempt across two appearances this year. Even against Washington's league-worst pass defense, Siemian is a low-end QB2.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (knee) did not practice on Thursday. We don't have any other details on the knee, but Smith has an extra day to get ready for Monday's game vs. the Giants. We'll update his status again tomorrow.

Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. It's confirmation that he's set to return for Monday's game vs. the Raiders. Pacheco is back in RB1 territory in the Week 16 Rankings. RB Jerick McKinnon (groin) did not practice on Thursday. His absence would boost Pacheco's pass-catching projection.

Raiders TE Michael Mayer (toe) did not practice on Thursday. We'll keep an eye on the rookie's status leading up to Monday's game vs. the Chiefs, but he'd be a desperation fantasy play if he suits up.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad) did not practice on Thursday. Interim HC Antonio Pierce said Wednesday that he expected Jacobs back for Monday's game vs. the Chiefs, but his availability can't be taken for granted at this point. We'll see if Jacobs gets back on the field tomorrow.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert missed his second straight practice on Thursday. He's been sitting out Wednesdays lately, but this is the first time this season he's been out on Wednesday and Thursday. Mostert is listed on the injury report with knee, ankle, and vet rest, so we don't know whether the injuries are actually what's keeping him sidelined. Check back tomorrow for another update on Mostert's status for Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (ankle) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. We're tentatively expecting him to return for this weekend's game vs. the Cowboys, but we'll see what Hill does on Friday and how he's listed on the final injury report.

Dolphins RB De’Von Achane (toe) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. He played through this toe issue last week and should be ready for this weekend's showdown vs. the Cowboys.
